Great but a bit pricey for what it is
Pros:

Awesome location (beachfront at Copacabana and still walking distance to Ipanema) and amazing view from the pool. Breakfast buffet is also great! Staff was very polite.

Cons:

We had 3x ocean view rooms, 2 of the rooms were fine but I would say mine had partial ocean view and should not have cost the same as the other 2 rooms. Ocean was on the side, directly opposite my balcony I could see more of the hotel that is under construction. Plus as I was on the 7th floor the balcony had this tall glass railing to see through which rooms on the floors above did not have. I wouldn’t have minded but when I compared to the other 2 rooms our group booked, mine was certainly not worth the same money.

Achei os ambientes quentes, o ar condicionado das areas comuns não gelavam bem e achei que o café da manhã pelo valor poderia ser MUITO melhor, tenho como referência o café da manhã do Fasano.

Hotel onéreux . Tb juste pour faire de jolies photos pour votre compte Face book.

L’architecte a fait une superbe piscine vue mer . Tout tourne autour de celle ci( la 2 Eme est entre 4 murs, inintéressante ) . Donc tout le monde vous regarde vous baigner : le bar et les chambres .
Si vous aimez le show, vous montrer , cet Hotel est parfait pour faire les photos show.
La chambre luxe vue océan, regarde d’abord la 2eme partie de l’immeuble . Sans voilage , vous êtes vu de tous ! Une chambre de LUXE VUE OCÉAN , s’il faut se positionner sur la terrasse pour voir la mer , ne me semble pas luxe . On a change d’hôtel et pour un prix quasi similaire on a eu une vraie vue mer.

Cons:

La vue luxe Océan qui n’en est pas une ! On voit surtout l’immeuble en face .

A minha primeira experiência neste hotel foi bastante agradável, o que me levou a escolher novamente esta unidade. Infelizmente, desta vez a experiência foi extremamente dececionante.

O check-in foi excessivamente lento e desorganizado. O hotel estava claramente sobrelotado, com demasiado barulho e confusão nas áreas comuns, o que comprometeu completamente o ambiente de conforto e exclusividade que se espera de um hotel desta categoria.

O pequeno-almoço também já teve bastante mais qualidade e variedade noutras ocasiões.

Relativamente ao quarto, a situação foi inaceitável. Havia um odor intenso e desagradável proveniente da casa de banho, a sanita apresentava fuga de água e o duche também tinha problemas. Foi extremamente desconfortável.

No geral, senti uma grande perda de qualidade no serviço e na manutenção. Uma experiência muito abaixo do esperado para esta marca, como o Fairmont.

Pros:

We stayed for Carnival and although a beautiful hotel be very careful about providing a credit card at check in. I had prepaid for our stay through my travel agent many weeks before arrival - My credit card was asked for at check in reception for incidental charges - A day after we had checked out of the hotel they charged a further two thousand pounds to my Am/Ex without any authorisation from me.
I sent a number of emails to the hotel titled URGENT but no reply.
This caused us unnecessary stress while on holiday.
Although we travel extensively I will be very reluctant to ever book The Fairmont again.
I really hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Cons:

El servicio de check in horrible tuve 7 horas esperando una habitacion y estaba con un discapacitado y cuando lograron daños una habitacion para discapitados el baño estaba malo , el Water no funcionaba, vino un maestro y intento arreglar y no se pudo tuve que esperar 2 horas mas para una nueva habitacion, nadie habla español aqui ???

Da non ripetere!!!
Pros:

We booked a stay from January 25 to 31, 2026. On January 29, We promptly informed the front desk that we would be leaving the hotel a day earlier than planned, January 31 instead of February 1. Despite the receptionist reassuring us that there would be no problems, after we had settled the bill at home, our credit card was charged for the night we didn't use, approximately €460.00.
Despite numerous emails requesting a refund, they continued to say they were available, but failed to resolve the issue. As of today, we still haven't received anything, and we feel truly cheated.
They didn't behave properly!!!!!
