Location and restaurant in lobby.
No AC, ceiling fan was insanely loud, bathroom shelf coming out of the wall and slanted, shower was dirty (found hair), room smelled like a urinal cake, blackout curtain did not fit the window.

In need of updating, room and bed were tiny, shower was leaking, no air conditioning just a ceiling fan so room was unbearable at night especially as it was a heat wave
La ubicación no está mal, a unos 7 minutos andando de Union Square. Nos guardaron las maletas sin problema el dia del check out. Y aunque la placa de ducha es pequeña sí tiene buena presión de agua.
El hotel en general está un poco viejo. Tiene mucha mejora... las habitaciones son pequeñas, y el baño minúsculo, una persona grande o robusta lo tendría justito de espacio. Por las noches hay bastante ruído en el exterior. Y el desayuno pobre para mi gusto.La caja fuerte no funcionaba. A pesar de todo eso nuestra estancia ha estado bien ya que sólo fueron 3 noches, y teniamos lo justo y necesario. Lo reservé con tiempo y era de lo mejorcito que había en San Francisco que no se fuera de precio. Más o menos sabiamos lo que nos ibamos a encontrar por las reseñas y comentarios. En general esta bien para una estancia no muy larga, en la que te duchas y duermes, básicamente.
The room was far too small for two people and not very comfortable. The bathroom was inadequate: the small size of the sink made it impossible to wash without dropping water on the floor. Initially we were assigned a room with a failed shower; the staff was courteous in offering us a change, but the new accommodation was also distressing. The value for money was very disappointing."

Within walking distance of our music venue and a few blocks from the BART. Cool, old building that was very clean and well maintained. Friendly staff.
A lot of street noise even with our white noise machine running. We always bring it with us.
A quaint, historic building. It is clean with natural light and a nice big bathroom. The beds were comfortable, too. The staff was polite and helpful.
Being that the building is very old, there was only one, very cute, but very old elevator. The power went out and which time we had to use the stairs. That only happened once. The room keys consistently stopped working but the front desk always replaced them when we asked.

I had a great stay at this hotel in San Francisco. The experience was excellent from start to finish. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options to start the day. One of the best things about this hotel is its location — it’s close to everything, which made getting around the city very easy. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting San Francisco.
Excellent hotel in good location. My room was very clean. The room came with a safe, two robes, luggage rack, large closet, ironing board and iron. The ceiling fan worked well and provided good ventilation. The lobby has a coffee and tea machine that is always available. The continental breakfast includes boiled eggs, fruit, cheeses, bagels, bread, and pastries.
The restaurant, FINO, is excellent! I had a lot of fun at the well-stocked bar. Guests are treated to a free glass of wine between 5 PM and 6 PM.
The hotel is close to BART (perfect for coming from the airport), the Powell Street cable car, and the buses on Market Street. Trader Joe’s is within walking distance. Union Square is very close with lots of shopping.
