Manager Tony was lovely.
The bathroom sink tap sprays straight out of the sink all over you!
Could have been cleaned a bit better, under the coffee machine was filthy.
Some things a little worn & old.
Over £100 a night too much.
Shame it was Nescafé coffee & machine, owned by Nestle one of the most ethically corrupt companies in the world.
Friendly staff, clean room, nice breakfast.
However, I think it was very overpriced for a room above a very noisy bar. We stayed two nights in Stratford-upon-Avon in a 4-star lovely hotel on our way home to Cornwall, which was half the price and quieter.
Great value and choice
Large room, most comfortable bed!
Lovely design
Very friendly welcome
It was perfect, planning on a return visit
Central location within town.
Our host Tony was amazing, gave us lots of info on where to visit and really looked after us x
It was all great
Small but comfortable and well appointed room overlooking the local church, well located just off the high street in the centre of town. It is above a pub and I guess if we'd gone to bed earlier we would have heard noise but we weren't aware of any noise on our stay.
I wasn't comfortable putting my payment details into a iPad to make the payment. The staff assured me this is fine and normal but I am sure next time I will try to pay online, in advance.
Friendly pub in a great location. Near to shops, restaurants and cafes. Clean, large room. Small car park but right next to the public car park if there is no room.
Pub meals at a reasonable price.
Ilkley itself is expensive.
The room was super comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay.
There is a small amount of parking and if available you can park there you just need to pop in and ask.
Breakfast that was included was made to order with fruit cereal and yogurt tea coffee free to select. Would stay again if retuning to ilkley. Good location as central to pretty much everything as quite a small village.
Location was very good
Can get a bit noisy
The location was excellent, right in the town centre.
Breakfast didn't start until 0800 and we needed to be away so cannot comment.
The exterior doors were locked at least 15 minutes early, so I had to get out of bed and dressed to let my husband in.
The shower was over the bath with no grab rails which was difficult for me - found it hard to get anything more than lukewarm water and the hairdryer didn't work
Rooms are very comfortable, location ideal for us visiting family, friendly staff.
Breakfast service could have been quicker. Has been faster on previous visits.
Located in centre of Ilkley , 2 free parking spots otherwise main car park just behind hotel @ £1.50 per hour
Bedroom ( up one flight of stairs ) we found very good , clean , comfy queen size bed , en suite shower n loo
Hotel itself if a public bar , breakfast was ok , staff great
Old hotel so slightly dated but otherwise fine
Fabulous place and the staff are excellent especially the Manager, Tony.
Nothing
Nice big room , fairly quiet
