Excellent location for Central Munich. Great transport options. Hotel is first class, friendly staff.

Convenient location. Property needs updates. Room wasn’t the cleanest Shower in room leaked badly. Ending up with wet carpeting. Carpet was stained

Room was pretty small and the light over the desk did not work.
Outside street was busy, the neighborhood not very attractive, but not unsafe. Tram stop was nearby, but we walked 1/4 mile from the Central train station.
Staff was nice and helpful.

Hotel is walking distance to the train station. Also, there is a tram stop just a short block to the left, as you're coming out. Staff was friendly enough and securely stored, and tagged, our luggage when we arrive hours before check in.

There is a strip joint a few doors down, but do not be alarmed. It is a very diverse neighborhood, with little spots to eat, non-drinking Muslim locals, and enough light. Also, if you need a break from pork and potatoes, there is a little fruit stand, down by the tram stop. We had a very early flight out, and walked to the train station before 4:30am, in the dark. There were people out (it was the first night of Oktobefest) but we felt safe.

Only real downside, for some, might be the size of the room. It is small. No biggie for us, as we only used it for sleeping and were gone the rest of the days and evenings. However, the bathroom is tiny! I'm a small guy, and I can't imagine an XXL person getting in and out of the shower.

For the convenience to the train station, I'd stay there again.

Only issue was not being able to connect to WiFi unless you became a member. We tried to sign up but it didn’t work.

Staff was friendly. Room was ok but bed was uncomfortable and pillows lacked. Floor didn't feel clean - worn out in spots. Lots of outlets which was nice. Very walkable to festival and various biergartens.

Very clean hotel, decent breakfast and fantastic location. Very close to the station and train to airport. As with most such locations, the surrounding area is variable with some good restaurants and other scruffy looking takeaways etc.
But would definitely recommend for location and value.

I had previouisly made a booking at the same hotel with another site which I'd cancelled... this seemed to confuse the staff as it was still showing on their system... they couldn't find the new booking at first. Also there was an issue with breakfast. It was Breakfast Included in my booking confirmation, again they couldn't find it!
I was put in a room on the second floor facing the trams so there was some noise.

I booked our stay based upon previous stays at an Ibis Styles property and its proximity to the train station. As compared to Ibis’ Styles concept, the room was surprisingly small - similar to a college dorm room. My son and I are both tall and had difficulty utilizing the bathroom, especially the shower. Our stay was during an unusually hot week and the room AC could not adequately cool the room. Despite these negatives, the overall condition of the property was good. It was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Although I probably wouldn’t stay there again because of the small rooms, it’s a great economical option for my college-aged son.

Conveniently located within a short walk of the Hauptbahnhof (main train station) and near to many dining options. The hotel also provides a comfortable accomodation option for solo or couples and is a reliable option for those who wish to explore Munich or those who are looking to have easy access to the trains.

I think the cleanliness is good and is near to a lot of eateries.. Other than that the room is small and cramp however for the price it’s fine

We choose this hotel for 2 reasons, it was close to the train station and had air conditioning. The air conditioning did not work at all, not just in our room but any room (so I believe). Unfortunately Europe is notorious for its lack of working air conditioning, so we had 2 days over 30c in a hot, tiny hotel room, and it’s fair to say this tarnished our stay at this hotel.
The positives is that it is very close to the station, easy walk to the city and close to shops and restaurants.

Well placed for visiting the old part of the city and near the station and good places to eat. Breakfast in the hotel was good value. The room on the 7th floor overlooking the street was a bit noisy from frequently passing trams.

Small, clean and simply but functionally furnished rooms in a convenient location. Breakfast buffet, not included, seemed expensive and was not tried.

Air conditioning is broken. Location was excellent.

Everything was great, but the beds were very uncomfortable.
