Property beautifull shame it was packed with immigrants
No kettle in room no seats in room comunial kitchen stunk dont know what they where cooking but the stench was foul although beautifull location was spoilt by ignorant migrants playing videos of people squealing in pain dreadfull experience wouldnt go again and then theres four flights of stairs to first floor poor

Mattress was flat and too soft
The towels and bedding were clean and the location was good as it was close to the university. Shower pressiure was good. TV in room and wifi worked ok.
No aircon and window didn't open enough. Heat in room was really uncomfortable. Floor was really dirty in main bedroom, bathroom smelt of cigarettes. Shower tray was slippy and it had a crack in it. Bathroom light kept going off during my shower, I had to keep opening the shower door to wave my hand to turn it on again. This wasn't just a nuisence, it was dangerous as the shower tray was also very slippy. No toiletries or even hand soap in bathroom. No coffee making facilites, no fridge. Tv remote was broken, only some buttons worked. View outside window had loads of cigarette buts on roof below. Bed was uncomfortable. Woken at 4 am by man yelling outside (presumably a fellow guest)
The staff were super helpful and friendly prior to arriving. The room was very clean., the bed comfortable, the shower great and the kitchen facilities downstairs , excellent.Free parking is also such a boon and the grounds are lovely.
My one issue was how hot the room was even with the windows open. It was frustrating that I couldnt switch off the heated towel rack in the ensuite which was adding to the problem. It must be cosy in Winter but not great in our rising summer temperatures. I would much rather have a fan than a tv in a room these days!

Grounds/parking area maintenance could be improved and tidied up as they were overgrown.

No toilet roll, door lock was broken so door didn't lock, room was too hot, needed air con or a fan as windows didnt open much. Bed very uncomfy, no 34
The building itself and the grounds were lovely.
Unfortunately, I found this stay very disappointing and would not recommend it for solo travellers. I paid extra for an ensuite room that had no soap. I only got into my room after the 7 pm cut off for reception, so couldn’t call anyone to inquire if this was a mistake on their part or they actually don’t provide soap (The shared bathroom did have soap). I also only received less than half a roll of toilet roll. With this 7 pm cut off - there is no emergency phone number - they just instruct you to leave a voice mail and say there is a warden on site. They don’t, however, give any contact information for them in the case of an emergency. The automatic lights in the hallway would shut off after 3 seconds. I also felt unsafe in the area with many sirens through the night and a fight breaking out near the grounds.
I liked the location and I highly recommend it.

Couldn't complain about anything apart from it was a heatwave and the bathroom radiator was on all day and night for those nights we stayed we suffered without a fan but apart from that it was a lovley stay
Lovely building and grounds it was perfect for our visit. Location was ideal for visiting all the surrounding areas.
