Great for location but rooms a little lacking in supplies.
Pros:

Great location near the Beach , cafe, and an excellent pizza place. Clean & pleasant decor

Cons:

A bit basic with the supplies in the room. For example only English breakfast tea, no other choice. Would have liked at least 1 herbal choice. Rooms quite small but adequate for a night.

A gem in a prime location - quintessential Sydney
Pros:

Waterfront location, bus to the airport, Bondi Junction and Central on the door step. Great bistro, safe, clean and super comfortable bed.

Cons:

If you are a light sleeper and staying on the weekend - please request city facing room.

Great location, great team that gel so well making visitors feel welcome

Absolutely perfect location. Restaurants, bus down the road, walks along the ocean.
Bistro on site had great menu, I highly recommend the Guinness Beef pie. It is to die for. And a must try the Beach Bum cocktail.
Rooms were very clean and beautiful. Beds and pillows were lovely and comfortable.The view from our room at night (photo below) was so special.
This to me is like an old fashioned local with a 2026 update, not to under rate but it is truly a great pub with lovely accommodation.
I cannot speak highly enough of the team, from the accomodation manager Katie to the young people in the bars of a night they were all friendly,helpful and attentive. Well done to the management team you should be very proud of these young people.
We would like to stay thank you for making our stay with you so amazing.

Great location and convenient parking downstairs.

Cons:

Impossible to sleep. We were well aware it was a 'lively pub' but the thumping bass on Friday night from a private function downstairs pumped through the floor/our earplugs and made it impossible to sleep until it ended after midnight. The next night was average pub sound as expected, which was fine and finished up at a decent time. I think it is unreasonable to expect people to stay here while also profiting off a private function in the room below, the speaker was directly below the room and created enough vibration that you would shake in the bed.

Overall a terrible experience trying to sleep but a great location.

Excellent location near Clovelly Beach and good value for money, despite some noise from the pub

As expected given how popular the pub is, the venue is not the quietest place to stay, with noticeable noise from the pub below, particularly in the evenings. While this was communicated after the reservation was made, it would have been helpful to receive that information earlier in the booking process.

That said, the price point reflects this, and overall I found the stay enjoyable. The location was convenient, the accommodation met expectations, and the overall experience was positive. I would happily stay again, particularly for a short stay where location and value are the main priorities.

Cons:

The main issue was the noise from the pub below, which was noticeable late into the evening. While I understand this is part of staying above a popular venue, it would have been helpful to receive clearer information about the expected noise levels before completing the booking rather than after the reservation was confirmed. Other than that, the stay met my expectations.

Not noisy given it was in a hotel
Comfortable room despite being very small

Cons:

Someone using fire escape next to our room smoking which meant smoke entered our room - very unpleasant
