Matilda Boutique and Spa Hotel

Maltida worked, medium on mattress (medium and especially soft can be a challenge to find in south east asia). Breakfast was delicious and ample enough variety and good juice and coffee. staff was friendly and helpful. used airport transfer service. my intl phone was acting up at airport, so had to buy vietnam sim to make contact with hotel and coordinate my pickup. arrival area was confusing and chaotic. and lots of tots trying to get you into their transport cars. Overall stay was great. its in very busy portion of old Hanoi, so walking, traffic and tots can be overwhelming.

The front desk staff was very helpful throughout the stay. The rooms were run down. The worst part of the stay was, the cleanliness of the room. There was dust and dirt on things that were never cleaned throughout my stay, the glass cups I used, the staff never actually provided new ones, they put back the old ones without washing and I realized this when looking to use and noticing.

My room had 1x window only and facing the lift ( so very dark and lacking fresh air ), which might be common in this area of Hanoi, but my main issue was regarding the door noises. They are quite heavy and you will hear your neighbours leaving/entering their rooms throughout the night. Breakfast is average

convenient location in hanoi, very walkable to the markets and shops. the room was spacious and comfortable. staff was amazing.

The hotel is very attractive inside, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Some staff were happy to just sit and chat with us casually during their slow times.

We didn't know what to expect. The Old Quarter is loud cramped. There aren't suitable sidewalks and scooters are everywhere. With that, our hotel was a nice hideaway from the somewhat overwhelming activity outside. Our room was clean and spacious. The blackout curtains allowed us to sleep in. The breakfast was good, and the waiter was so kind and friendly. Every morning, he would joke around with us and tell us about some of the local cuisine. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

In the heart of The Old Quarter in Hanoi. Walking distance to every type of food imaginable. Staff was incredible. Would stay there again. A great experience

Great hotel in a great location. The staff are very helpful and we’re happy to keep some of our luggage when we went on a Ha Long bay cruise. If I come back to Hanoi I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for one evening. The staff was incredibly helpful and the location was right in town. Breakfast was included in our stay and there was a wide variety of options available. 10/10 we would stay again.

Right in Hanoi old quarter, close to many good restaurants.
Front desk staffs are very friendly and helpful.
Clean bedroom & washroom.
Will come back on my next trip to Hanoi
