Divalux Resort & Spa Bangkok, Suvarnabhumi Airport

Beautiful rooms and great access to BKK airport. I wish I could have stayed longer to take advantage of more of the facilities!

This is listed as close to airport it is about half hour in the traffic but worth it when you get there really friendly staff and the room was very clean and comfortable
We never got to use the facilities as it was a one night before we came home arriving late evening

Dead roach beside the bathtub. The receptionist who checked us in was curt and stoic, atypical of Thai service. Ordered dinner for three, two of the meals were served thirty minutes before third meal came out. After waiting twenty minutes I cancelled the third meal and was told it would be one mor minute and it was ten minutes before it was brought to me after I told the server twice I wanted to cancel. The server had another server bring the meal and again I told them to cancel the meal for the fourth time. They were annoyingly insistent. Some staff were friendly and a few staff members seemed distant and uninterested. Will not return again.

Good for a night, but far from everything

When we got to our room the room floor was so dirty, it looked like it wasn’t cleaned for days, and all throughout the night you just here banging noises and people talking, I will never go back

It was really clean and the staff were kind and friendly. We would defojktley go again.

Staff

The positives;
The furniture and bed was comfortable, the cabinets and closets in the room looked almost new, the air conditioning worked well in my room and breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly and the service was good.

The negatives;
The overall condition of the hotel needs attention. The hallways are looking very tired and in need of at least a paint job.
The worst for me was the condition of the bathroom, the toilet was clogged, the sink drained very slowly and there was heavy mold in the shower.

Overall the hotel is fine for a short stay or layover. I stayed in this hotel about 2 years ago and it seems that general maintenance and upkeep since then has not been sufficient to keep hotel looking fresh.

This was a great place to stay for my one night overlay. Amazing price! Airport shuttle was very convenient. The 24 hour bar and dining is a plus. The buffet breakfast was amazing with so many options and a beautiful scenery.

The staff was great, very helpful and attentive.

It is rated a 5 star hotel, based on my experience traveling all over the world I would rate it a 3 star. The entrance and pool area are the only thing that would be 5 star. The rooms are old, shower head keeps falling off. the buildings look unrenovated. Breakfast buffet cost a fortune. The only good thing is that it was not expensive for a nights stay.

The hotel offers a shuttle bus to and from the airport for free

This is truly a resort to unwind. Stunning. Food is amazing. Beds are mega comfortable. Rooms are stylish and good sized. Fabulous pool with a cocktail bar. It's not a party place. Prices are not western, but a little more expensive than average east Thai.
