My fiancé and I like the free breakfast in the morning, the beds are comfortable and clean, and the rooms are usually always clean.
We’ve stayed at the Lakeside Inn three times thus far, and typically the stay is very pleasant, but this time around it got off to a rocky start. My fiancé found a shirt and pair of underwear in one of the drawers that weren’t ours. There was no tv remote, and when I got one, it wasn’t synced to the tv, so I had to have one of the staff members help us. The toilet seat was hanging on for dear life, as it was almost completely off its screws.
That’s the most amount of issues we’ve ever had. We love coming to the Lakeside Inn and will continue to stay here, but they have a few issues to fix.

AMAZING staff, so helpful and kind. They give you complementary chips when you check-in. Amazing view of the lake, we had breakfast with the view. Karaoke bar/restaurant with fun ambiance!
The breakfast wasn’t all that great but it did the job. Also no elevators, however the staff is more than willing to help you with your luggage!

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The hotel was dirty, appeared run down, and was clearly in need of some serious updates.
The air conditioning in our room was not working properly, and by morning, the room was actually hotter than the hallway. The toilet also did not work properly, which was extremely inconvenient. On top of that, the bathtub drained so slowly that I was literally standing in a pool of water while showering. The beds were also very uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
Overall, the condition of the hotel did not match what we expected, especially considering the price we paid. Between the cleanliness, maintenance issues, uncomfortable room conditions, and lack of basic functionality, the stay was not worth the cost.
Hopefully, management will take these concerns seriously and address the cleanliness, maintenance, and comfort issues. There is definitely a lot of room for improvement.
Adequate for price. Breakfast was tasty and bed was very comfortable. Convenient location, nice in that it was right next to a small lake.

Small rooms. Thin floors. Lots of noise from above. Who puts 3 stairs in the middle of the first floor hallway? Auto doors would have been nice. Place is just tired. Oh, get NESN!
The view of the lake was good
The staff not taking an issue seriously . Carpet was soaked from unplugged refrigerator didn’t notice till I took off my shoes that night. I talked to the front desk employees multiple times about it and they said everything was fine. The hotel was booked so the couldn’t move me to another room at 9:00 at night.
