Location and views

The view and comfy bed. The shower great size and water pressure lovely, luxurous endless amounts of body care supplies provided.
BUFFET BREAKFAST INCL was nice and casual to eat when desired in the morning provided a lovely buffet of what ever desired and freshness . I will book again anytime in melbourne .
Not your fault but it took alot of driving aroumd several times to fimd the way in , i phoned reception amd they directed us . Not a bug deal really . Werent aware of $80 charged for car parking when we checked out which was a bit disappointing as public tramsport was an option into Melbourne for us and had we known of parking cost extra we wouldve optws for PT .
The breakfast was good and accommodated for my friends coeliac disease. The staff were welcoming to myself and my guide dog.
i had to ask staff to make a Cappuccino with soy milk as I am lactose intolerant. I explained to staff needed Soy Milk as I am lactose intollerant. The staff wanted to charge extra for a cappuccino with soy milk. I also need the staff to make the cappuccino as I am vision impaired with a guide dog. Staff should also show/explain to blind/low vision people where food is located and what is at the buffet for breakfast or ask if they can help.
The location
The room was small and it was built for a handy caped person not really comfortable
Always clean, bed was great. Bathroom was great. Nice to have a dressing area however the case trolley is too small and our case nearly falls off
Would’ve preferred a river view. 2nd time staying and have had a pool view both times 😔 no gluten free or coeliac area for breakfast. Had to order an almond late and it cost an extra $5 when we had already paid $80 for breakfast.
Easy and great early check in
Leaving after only 1 night in that comfortable kind size bed - was so nice
The range of breakfast food was excellent and the coffee machine worked very well.
The scrambled egg was bland and lacked a creamy texture. The baked beans were also bland. However, the button mushrooms were excellent.
Regarding the room facilities (dissabled access): a guide is needed for the location and function of the various light switches. The following observations are restricted to the bedhead area and the tea/coffee making area. The illumination provided was well thought out, however the implementation was problematic.- the switches located either side of the bed head were obscured by pillows and other bedding and extremely hard to find - black switch plates on a black background plus low ambiant light levels did not help due to low-level task-lighting being the norm. Power outlets suffered from the same lack of contrasting colours (some wall mounted power outlets and switch plates were the exception). Pliuging in appliences was problematic due to difficulty in seeing the actual sockets on the power outlets. This all comes down to a conflict between functionality and cosmetics. A working compromise aught to be possible. NB: I am not sight impared and can only wonder what the experience might be like for someone with failing eysight.
Great location. The staff were really friendly & helpful. The bed was really comfortable. I really liked the added room where you could store/organize your clothes, that room had drawers to put clothes in and had plenty of hangers for the clothes.
No complaints, everything was just about perfect.
