There was a birthday party going in adjacent room till 2 am i called the night manager at 12 am informed i have exam tomorrow complained about loud noise requested to change room they just reassured me and nothing happened i had to stay up till 2 am because of this n this impacted my exam performance.

I will come again but will be reviewing reviews beforehand to see if this is a trend.
Pros:

The property is in a great location and is normally a very comfortable stay very enjoyable

Cons:

This time my day was not so great the air-conditioner although set on 18 to 22 and beyond it wouldn’t heat the room over 15 to 16° maximum.
Also, there was no mini bar of any sort and no drinking water.
Also no accessories in the bathroom in case I forgot my toothbrush or something like normally

Great for a few enjoyable nights in Melbourne
Pros:

It was a very comfortable King room with a lovely bathroom. Very close to Marvel where we went to the footy.

Cons:

The Credit Card surcharge is 1.9% is excessive especially for a worldwide accommodation group with significant negotiation ability. Small retailers like cafes don't even charge this much!
The lighting in the room was a bit dim - the room was on the city side, and it was Winter (so grey outside).
Great having a coffee pod machine but only 2 coffee pods that weren't decaf - seems a bit light on for 2 adults.
