The shower was impossible to use as you have to go up a steep step then climb over the high sided bath, then no bath mat so just slid after getting in. Did not bother after first attempt.

Very convenient for us as we were there for our dear friends funeral, only 4min walk to the chapel.
Pros:

No breakfast provided, but has a lovely breakfast just 4 mins away from hotel. Had a super evening meal, bedroom was nice and spacous and comfortable, was supplied with lots of tea, coffee and biscuits.
was happy with our stay at the Bull.

Don't stay here
Pros:

The outside of the building looked promising

Cons:

Food was inedible, and quite disgusting.
Bed uncomfortable, and pillows like rocks.
Very noisy with rugby supporters in the bar singing and shouting.
The whole place was grubby.
Couldn't wait to get out of there.
The town is very strange, no restaurants only take-aways so no option but to eat at the Bull,.but starving would have been a better option.

The Bull Hotel
Pros:

Parking is limited, especially when large contractors vans fill the car park. The rooms were dated but clean. The 2 downsides to our stay were the street noise and the noise from the water pipes after the toilet was flushed, which made for disturbed sleep.

Advertising said private parking, but when we got there we were told you would be lucky to find a parking spot as more rooms than spaces, so parking was a problem.

Hotel's location was great for access to the towns shops and eating places. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Good room. Car park holds about a dozen cars. Entrance is on the left directly after clock tower.

Cons:

Note the hotel does not serve breakfast. However not a problem as a lovely cafe 70 yds away , opens 8 am mon to sat & 9 am Sun.

Very friendly staff that were more than happy to accommodate with requests, bedrooms were very nicely maintained

Great stop off on the way to Holyhead for the ferry.
Pros:

We stayed at the bull hotel on our way to the ferry port at Holyhead the hotel was a perfect location as a stop over before an early morning Ferry. The staff at the hotel were great and the food was excellent definitely better than normal pub food, I would recommend as a stop over.

The rooms were good, we had a room at the front so a little noisy, but great value for money.
