Pros:

Owners of the hotel are everything ♥️ kind and lovely people. Fresh homemade and delicious food. In the hotel you can book and pay a reasonable price for visiting the 3 islands (Bolaños, Gámez and Parida). As you can see the hotel is on an island but this kind people pick you up from the dock to the hotel for free when arriving and leaving and also the morning you are going to the islands. Really recommend this place.

Pros:

The german family who run this B&B work very hard and were very kind! This is one of the nicest places in the area and the views are AMAZING, but as a romantic getaway there was not a lot of privacy. Rooms are all quite close to the main sitting and dining area. There was only 1 room out of the 6 that I would consider private. There are only a few poolside chairs. There are NO close dining options, so you are limited to their lunch and dinner options (which are delicious but repetitive). Internet was slow and hot water was limited. Once we got to understand the system of dining and used to seeing the family every day, we were more comfortable. We had a really fabulous time overall and we would stay again, just wanted to give other guests the heads up of some of the quirks and to have clear expectations going in that this is more of a homestay or Bed and Breakfast than a luxury hotel.

Pros:

Very much enjoyed our stay at Boca Brava Paradise. We were treated like family, maybe even better! They upgraded our room, which was nice. The food was excelllent throughout our stay. Seeing Parrots and monkeys on the property was cool, and a short walk down the road in the jungle revealed even more. Highly recommend.
