Very welcoming and helpful staff. Quick to make up the second bed, they ordered a taxi for us - really great. Staff in the restaurant and the shop were equally helpful and cheerful.
Food in the restaurant was excellent, dinner as well as breakfast.
Great views
Nothing
Service, cleanliness, Staff, breakfast and dinner all excellent
Tour was brilliant also
Facilities in room all excellent
Loved the shop, staff and volunteers all very helpful
Loved being able to refill water bottles
I can't think of anything
Room was very comfortable, well-furnished and there was a very generous tea tray. The bed was exceptionally good. We had a lovely view over Poole Harbour. We had dinner in Riggles Restaurant on one evening. The food was very well cooked and presented and very reasonably priced. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the RNLI College hotel.
Nothing.
Good variety of food including gluten free toast for my husband
The evening meal was very disappointing. I had pre booked and told of dietary requirements and allergies. I wasn't told it was a curry night. Otherwise I would have arranged elsewhere to eat. What they served specifically for me was dry, stodgy and unimaginative. Very poor value for the price.
Room was huge and bed was very comfortable
Staff were friendly and helpful
A group had booked the events room on the Saturday night and they were quite loud.
Good room with sea view ,excellent food, great staff.
Nothing
View from the bed room
The bath come shower, in my view it’s better to have a walk in shower. Noise from the party at night plus the long wait for a drink at the slipway bar with the party getting there drinks from the same bar.
The view, the proximity to the ferry, the comfortable bed.
After travelling for 8hrs I was hoping for a bath and a hot meal and then an early night. I was informed I couldn't eat at the rnli restaurant as they were fully booked. I asked if I could have room service, or even a plate of chips as I felt too tired to walk the 20 minutes to the quay to try my luck at the restaurants there and it being a Saturday night it was likely to be super busy. The answer was no. The bath plug was broken so I couldn't use the bath. I had a shower and went to bed hungry. The girl at the desk was unhelpful. I could have stayed at the premiere Inn for half the price and had the same service. I think it's a great cause and will continue to donate to the rnli, but I won't be staying at the college again. There's better ways to spend close to £200.
A fabulous place to stay and supporting such a fantastic charity. What’s not to like?
It is an ideal location. The hotel staff are amazing so happy and helpful and the hotel has everything you need for a relaxing weekend break
Nothing to dislike
Super clean and modern lovely size rooms
Nothing to add
Good location, well designed rooms, amazing view across the bay. We liked that we were supporting a charity that provides a vital service around our coastline. It’s a perfect overnight stay if you’re going to see a show at Poole Lighthouse, with secure private parking.
Points forts :
* Chambre très confortable
* Très bon petit déjeuner
Points faibles :
