Pros:

This has nothing to do with an eco lodge!! Except for the place being in the middle of nowhere & incredibly hard to reach, there’s also nothing natural or pleasant about the property. Reception staff & management are rude & unhelpful:

there’s nothing eco or relaxing about this lodge. It’s located in the middle of nowhere which could provide the natural ambience we were after but instead the whole compound is peppered with loudspeakers which play music all hours of the day. The whole place is flooded with fluorescent led lights scaring away birds & animals, making the stars invisible & preventing restful sleep as there are only very thin curtains that barely blocked out the glaring lights. Incredibly there’s a karaoke bar on premises which played very loudly until 2am.

It’s very cold in that area of Mexico & we couldn’t even take a hot shower because the water was barely luke warm. The beds are uncomfortable.
