A perfect stay
Pros:

Very clean ,great choice at breakfast ,comfortable bed ,view of sea from room 7 . hosts were so friendly and gave their time to chat and give recommendations

Pros:

Everything - the hosts, the room, the cleanliness& the food was unfaultable.
Loved it was in Bispham just up the road from actual blackpool - but still accessible via the tram stop outside.
The area had lovely shops, bars restaurants.
Already booked to come again in November.

Great staff, heart sank when I saw the room I'd 'upgraded'
Pros:

The staff were amazing! There is no faulting their professionalism and care towards guests. Absolutely amazing.

Cons:

Sadly, and I feel uncomfortable saying this because the staff were so lovely. The room was tiny, basic, and I even upgraded to a sea view room for extra money, but half the window was frosted! So you couldn't even see the sea. Also because of the very small size of the room the bed and bedside table obstructed the window, so I was a bit upset I'd spent the extra money for an 'upgrade'.
Unfortunately, I feel the room was very overpriced; it hadn't been decorated in decades, and it certainly wasn't sea view label worthy. If the room had been a lot cheaper, I would have been ok with this; the bed was clean and its location was ideal for the reason for my visit. But too overpriced, unfortunately. Felt a bit sad when I walked in, and bank account was unnecessarily lighter.

Nice location, bispham ,next to red bank ,lovely shops bars restaurants, hotel just right,friendly hosts,offered use of breakfast room throughout day with cutlery and water ,you could bring own food and drink..Good breakfast lots.of hot tea.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel because it was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and I would happily stay there again.

There wasn’t really anything I disliked about my stay. Everything was clean, comfortable and well organised, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a very positive experience.

Brilliant
Pros:

The location was great in the sense of very quiet at night so got lots of rest.
Staff was fantastic so kind and caring I would definitely stay
Again thank you.

Cons:

There could have been a holder in shower for shower gel ext.
Also could do with a bog brush However still great hotel.
Still happy with our stay.

We loved that staff was friendly and welcoming, room was great quality for money too, hotel was nice & clean, breakfast was delicious. Not a bad word to say about hotel242 and me and my husband would 100% be coming back

Misleading towards the free parking after booking and speaking with the owner before leaving i was told there was free parking but on arrival I was told that there are only x4 spaces and would have to park 2 streets away if the x4 spaces had been taken if I had of know this I would of cancel me reservation due to travelling with a £3000 mountain in my i needed to know it was secure this was not the case leading me to leaving at 2:30am in the morning because I had anxiety that my car and bike was not secure, the room was classed as a double room which was more a single with no room to more , the shower did not warm only externally hot which burnt my already burnt skin from the sun so I had to wash myself from a sink, the breakfast was poor and I found the landlady very rude , on one occasion entering my room without knocking to check if anyone was in there very dissatisfied with this booking.
