Pros:

Very clean, comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly and the location was excellent. Great breakfast! It was a special experience to stay in a property with such provenance and history.

Comfortable stay in convenient location
Pros:

Very convenient location, comfortable beds and lovely food.

Cons:

The temperature in the room was often too hot or too cold. Sometimes could smell the kitchen food vent in the room.

Ideal Two Day Break
Pros:

Check in was fast and efficient
Bedroom was clean and bed was comfortable
Very compact and tea and coffee facilities available
Dined in restaurant for lunch and dinner
Plenty of choice to choose from,we took the light lunch option
and had ham and cheese baguette with fries very tasty and filling
Dinner was also very good, we decided on a steak with peppercorn sauce
which was correctly cooked to perfection,very tender,and roast loin of cod.
We had just about room for our deserts which didn’t disappoint Eton mess.
Breakfast was served in the front room of hotel,very spacious room and bright,
Table set out for cereals,orange juice etc
Cooked breakfast to order.
All staff were efficient,polite,while we were there.
