I am not sure about this property. We had ground floor facing street and just none stop scooters and noise. No complimentary water given, construction next to property with workers looking over the pool. For the price we paid to stay here it was simply not worth it . I will give positive note to the bell hop / staff helper did not catch his name but he went above and beyond help and very friendly and courteous .

Pleasant hotel. The five-star rating it recently received is stretching the definition of five stars a bit.

Le service est tres nonchalant. Je choisis regulierement de petits hotels boutiques car je prefere la relation qui s’etablit avec le personnel. Dans ce cas le personnel etait peu attentif et on semblait plutot les deranger avec nos questions et nos demandes. Dommage car le site de l’hotel demeure tres beau et le sejour pourrait etre encore plus agreable

Villa Genesis is a lovely boutique hotel, a well maintained property. Our room was large, stylishly appointed and very clean. The staff are exceptional both helpful and friendly.

Hotelli oli tosi kaunis ja henkilökunta todella ystävällistä. Hotelli sijaitsi hieman sivummassa, joten keskustaan sai kävellä jonkin matkaa. Hotelli antoi myös hyviä ravintola ehdotuksia ja hoiti pöytävaraukset. Menisin kyllä uudestaan, mutta seuraavalla kerralla vuokraisin auton, jos yöpyisin tässä hotellissa.

The only real problem at the hotel was the breakfast. Only two people helping and a lot of guests .

While the location has potential, unfortunately our experience was less relaxing than we had hoped. During our stay, there was ongoing construction work for a new on-site restaurant next to the pool, which significantly disrupted the peace and quiet. Even once completed, the environment will still be quite noisy due to nearby traffic, frequent ambulance sirens, and the overall lack of sound insulation.
Our room was located directly next to the reception area, which meant we could hear every conversation throughout the day and night. Additionally, rubbish was regularly taken out right in front of our window during the night, often waking us up - definitely not ideal for anyone seeking rest and relaxation.
That said, the lady at reception was very friendly and provided us with excellent recommendations for both local restaurants and beaches, which we truly appreciated.
All in all, Villa Genesis may suit travellers who are less sensitive to noise, but for those looking for a peaceful retreat, it might not be the best choice.

Hotel was beautiful. Staff was amazing. The breakfast was great. Location was perfect we loved Menton. I just have to say we had nothing but problems with our room and the hotel was fully booked. The staff was very kind and did their very best to accommodate. Room 005 at the time of our stay had no a/c so they put in a rolling window unit kind of a/c. Another room issue was the wifi never truly worked consistently. These were minor annoyances to us. And like I said the hotel staff was great and were able to accommodate us considering. Even still I just felt obligated to put these details in a review. No other room seemed to experience these issues. If I were to suggest anything just ask ahead of time if issues in that room are fixed and if not hopefully another will be available. It is a beautiful and very nice property in a great location.

En nydelig hage. Det var grind inn til området - som var låst. Brukte romnøkkel for å åpne. Det opplevdes trygt. Hadde frokost på rommet. Den kom presis.
Pick up på airport var perfekt.

Séjour convenable, mais climatisation ne fonctionnant pas dans la chambre où il faisait plus de 25 degrés
Douche fuyant sur le sol de la salle de bain rendant l’endroit déjà exigu difficile à pratiquer
Belle piscine et concierge accueillant

While the building, grounds and staff were fine - the air conditioning was a daily battle. Had to ask daily to make sure that the main setting (which is controlled by the front desk) is set low enough…. but even when it was set right, the room was hot…. Would not expect that from a high end place and an expensive room.
