Location is easy to find with good parking, comfortable rooms, good food and excellent helpful and friendly staff
Extremely comfy bed and warm venue
The hotel has had a significant upgrade since I stayed there last, a few years ago. The results are fantastic.
Tastefully redecorated bar & restaurant areas, paying homage to the history, with plenty of modern touches.
The bed was comfortable.
The linen was clean & fresh.
Excellent wi-fi coverage throughout the hotel; from the bar to the bedrooms.
The food in the bar was excellent quality.
The Staff were very friendly, professional & happy to help throughout my stay.
Ideal location for the marina & local tourist spots.
Apart from the good old Welsh weather, there isn't much to not to like
Lovely room for a good price and very nice staff. Comfy bed and great view of the harbour from the window. I stayed for 1 night so me and my 4 y/o daughter had somewhere to rest after a busy day at Skomer.
The restaurant staff were lovely though and even brought some proper colouring books for my daughter to doodle in whilst food cooked.
The restaurant food wasn’t amazing and cost more than the room, which considering it was 1 adult and 1 child eating, was surprising. Noisy road out the front and limited parking.
They have done an excellent update on the hotel. We stayed a warm Saturday night and the terrace was busy, noisy people under the covered area till after midnight. Also neighbouring guest running in corridor and slamming doors late at night. Will visit again and seek a quieter room!!
Noisy guests you can't control!
Parking was a bit of a gamble, Breakfast could improve, no fresh fruit etc, cold beans. Room was close to kitchen fan extraction so there was constant noise. Staff good and helpful
Parking, breakfast, noise
Location, helpful staff, own car park, breakfast and views from the restaurant. Evening meal was a salad and cook was extremely helpful suggesting alternative options.
Room and bed, large and airy.
Pricing for Breakfast on Booking.com did quite match current price and options at the hotel.
Minor point otherwise very satisfactory and would book again.
The staff made you welcome they were always polite and nothing was to much of a bother to them. Breakfast was was excellent everything was freshly made and the pastries was also warm.
There was nothing to complain about
Very convenient location, comfy and specious room, friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
Limited parking spaces at the rear so you need to park on the main street. However, this was not an issue.
Very comfortable, clean, a perfect location for the start of our hike along the Pembrokeshire coastal path towards Dale.
There is potential for it being a bit noisy at night on weekends as our room was directly above the beer garden, but this didn't bother us
The hotel was conveniently located with very spacious rooms. Staff were attentive, friendly and professional. We purchased breakfast upon arrival but soon found out that it wasn’t being served until after we had left for the day, as a result, the team were brilliant at accommodating the money we had spend by reutilising it for other food and drinks at the bar.
The beds were firm, and uncomfortable. There were a lot of areas that had not been cleaned/hoovered in our room and whilst the beds were made daily, there were no top ups or any showering products (shampoo/body wash). Would suggest for the quality of the stay, it was overpriced per night.
Everything
Nothing
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay once again, we have had several stays over the past six weeks or more for usually 2-3 days and look forward to each stay due to the absolutely marvellous outstanding service provided by the staff within the hotel. For this we are truly grateful and delighted to be frequent permanent future customers due to the marvellous experiences each and every time. Very much appreciated and obliged. We are due to stay again on Tuesday 26th May 2026 and are hoping your staff can once again assist us with our booking amendment which I will call directly about tomorrow God willing :). Thank you all sincerely.
Kind regards
