The beds were comfortable and room was clean.
My main concern were the ceiling peeling off and shower needs touch up in or room. The hallway and elevator need work along with outside maintenance. The curb appeal is awful.
Staff was super friendly! Location easy to get to. Pretty clean.
Location
Room not clean . The peep hole in the room had a paper towel shoved in it . Walls in bathroom had water damage to them and mold . Hair was in my shower when i arrived

The room /s had mold and or were musty smelling.
I have been fighting cancer and to breathe air that has these properties is a huge No or bleach air, for that matter. It’s one of the key things cancer patients must avoid
David the night manger. Not the person who checked us in, acknowledged the problem and did show us another room which was similar.
Therefore we could not stay.
The mold dealt a lot with prior to arrival
Electrical plugs on lamps didn't work,-needed to use for required medical device. Room was smelly, AC did not work to set temp. Ran out of food on 2 days. Will not stay at there again.

Price was nice and location was close to where I needed to go

There were dogs barking most of the late evening outside our room. And there was nowhere to park!
Breakfast was just ok

BEWARE - BED BUGS !! This was the WORST hotel we have ever stayed in and we travel frequently. The hotel was dirty and outdated, and I mean DIRTY! I could go on and on about the things we saw. The pictures on the website are very deceiving! We put our items in our room and left shortly afterwards. We returned to our room and was unpacking & noticed broken glass on the floor (left side of bed closest to the window) I went down to the front desk and she had to call the manager to even ask to switch our room. We had a room with 2 double beds and she moved us to a king bed with a pull out couch. My daughter was not happy about this and the pull out couch was dirty and very uncomfortable. Even the new room was dirty and very outdated. Our friends we traveled with found bed bugs on the mattress of their room. (we had proof of the bugs in a clear cup to show) We immediately called to front desk and the lady came up. We asked to talk to the manager and she called her and put us on speaker. We requested to be moved to another hotel (and compensated for the amount we would have to pay) she told us no, all she would do is refund our money for the amount we paid there. This was unacceptable, considering there were BED BUGS in the hotel. If we were to move to another hotel, we would be out over $200 as this was around 8pm. We had tickets to the baseball game and were under a time frame. We asked for a refund and to stay then, and she said no. This manager was very rude!! Come to find out she actually owns this hotel, no wonder when I said we would call corporate, she said ok, go ahead. This hotel should be inspected by the health dept and Choice Hotels should NOT associate their name with it!! I will NEVER stay in a Choice Hotel ever again because of all the issues!! I can go on and on about all the dirty and nasty things in this place!! Unbelievable on how we were even treated as guests!!! We should have received a FULL REFUND as we asked for!!
