Pros:

The staff were very kind and friendly. I didn't have any issues with sound leaking into my room and slept comfortably and peacefully. Bottled water was in the fridge and slippers and pajamas were available. Bed was very comfy with comfy pillows. They let me check in early because the cleaning was done which I was very grateful for because I was so sweaty from my journey.

Cons:

The bathroom had a bit of a smell and some areas needed a deep clean, particularly the shower door which was black around the sealant and near the sink too. There is no light near the mirror in the bathroom so it's not ideal for doing makeup at all.

Fantastic location, lovely staff, decent sized room.
Pros:

Cute hostel in a lovely location, close to the station and local shops / ramen and good eats. Kind and friendly staff, with good food recommendations. The street is peaceful but close to good bars and nightlife.

Pros:

The hotel’s location is excellent, with a metro station just a short walk away. There is also a 24/7 FamilyMart right across the street. The rooms are a bit small, but that is quite normal by Japanese standards and did not affect our stay. There are also several nice pubs and bars within walking distance. Considering the location, amenities, and overall experience, we found this hotel to offer excellent value for money.

Great location
Pros:

Really friendly staff, less than 5 minutes walk to the subway and main station.

Cons:

We stayed for 13 nights and the bed linen and towels were changed when asked but the bathroom wasn't cleaned, the bed was a futon which we aren't used to and the room was very small.

Good location but room very damp/ mouldy and smelled of cigarettes

The location was great

Cons:

There was an intense smell of mould / damp and cigarettes in our room that didn’t go away. The room didn’t feel majorly clean but was okay. There was also a lot of building work going on that was very loud in the early hours of the morning

Cozy, fuss-free place
Pros:

Very near to the metro station. Also walkable distance to Shinjuku Gyoen. The neighborhood is pretty quiet at night.
A convenience store is right opposite, a drug store a few steps away. Downstairs is a cafe and seems pretty popular.
The room is decently big, there's a table for working, with a comfortable shower.
They kindly let me check in early at 11.30am.

Cons:

The hallway is a big small, so be careful when going outside. No real openable windows, but it's a minor matter.

Pros:

Ogród w zasięgu kilkudziesięciu kroków, centra sklepowe (MASA), a wśród nich świątynie, bramy Tori, cmentarze i plich targ w niedziele w dwóch lokalizacjach znaleźliśmy oraz targ z warzywami i innymi pysznymi ekologicznymi do zjedzenia.

Pros:

Room was large, there was a small balcony and the bathroom was well appointed and a good size. The café downstairs was handy, and the staff filled out our luggage forwarding slip before directing us to the konbini opposite to send it (it arrived safely at the next hotel). Location was great (near Shinjuku-Gyoemmae station), a short walk from Shinjuku Gyoen National garden and hotel was a good price for Shinjuku too.

Cons:

Entryway was unusual - steps down from the street - and stairs were quite steep (there was a lift though). Nothing worth complaining


about really.

The location was great and we appreciated the space in the room however it could have been a little cleaner.
Pros:

The location was great, just far enough away from all the commotion to be queer but still close to all the fun stuff in Tokyo!

Cons:

The headboard shelf on the bed wasn’t cleaned before we stayed.

Overpriced but ok stay
Pros:

Location is convenient and around the block of the metro. The area is calm even in the weekends. Shower was good.

Cons:

The room and bathroom feel old and worn. Also a bit dusty (bookshelves and closet). Missed having a proper light at a mirror. Weird light in closet didn’t work. Pillows are a bit too firm.

Bien placé mais bruyant
Pros:

Le métro et le parc très proche, le quartier sympa.

Cons:

3 nuits au 1er étage devant le Combini qui ferme à pas d’heure et se fait livrer tôt le matin et le dernier soir, des travaux au marteaux piqueur sous nos fenêtres. La Direction avait l’info mais s’est bien gardé de nous prévenir. C’est très mal isolé au plan phonique donc vraiment pas agréable.
