Pros:

The gym and pool were nice

Cons:

The water had to be turned off to our floor due to a leak which I understand is out of there control however the phone was also not working in our room so i went to reception twice. The second time over an hour later I informed them we had to be somewhere and I needed to make alternative arrangements to get ready if it was not going to be back in soon, despite this they asked me to sit in the bar which I did for 20 minutes, no one come to me so I stood at the desk at which point they offered me another room to get ready in. This could have been offered much earlier and our plans were disrupted because of this. When I contacted the hotel they just did the usual thank you we will improve for future guests. I would not have been so angry if 1- we were offered and alternate room to get ready in a lot sooner, and 2- they asked me to sit in the bar, a complementary drink/ even a bottle or water would have been a nice gesture. They didn’t seem to care that much about helping with the situation. I will not be staying here again.

Pros:

Breakfast was good

Cons:

I have a disabled wife whom is in a wheelchair whilst it did indicate it was a disabled friendly hotel it was poorly designed , fitting a square peg in a round whole springs to mind. I would expect the language to indicate old hotels with multiple levels not suitable for wheelchair users.

Pros:

We liked our room, it was spacious, clean and comfortable with air con, WiFi and a TV. We liked the crib provided by the hotel it was high quality and in the room ready for us. We liked the fact that we had access to the pool and gym during our stay. Staff where friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The only negative from our stay was the breakfast. We did not feel that at £16.95 per person that the breakfast was good value for money. Sausages, bacon and mushrooms where quite clearly cheap poor quality products. While eating i thought back to the breakfast I had at a Travelodge in Bournemouth a month earlier which was much nicer and nearly half the price. Apart from that everything was perfect.

Pleasantly surprised at the great value. Price included use of the gym/pool and a huge breakfast.

Wouldn’t recommend
Pros:

The name of the hotel and price , however it doesn’t match the quality that’s why the price is questionably low.

Cons:

No WiFi at all at the corridor of room 300+. We are not the only one complaining. The sink water is hard to adjust temperature, there’s water left over in the kettle which was not cleaned properly!
