Awesome experience in this hotel and we will definitely come again for family gathering. The service staffs were so so supportive and friendly and important very accommodating with our request on our little boy needs.

We chose The Barracks Hotel as our home before attending a wedding, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made.

The room with the access to the pool was absolutely perfect, a peaceful sanctuary where we could slow down, relax and enjoy a few quiet moments before the excitement of the big day. The tranquil surroundings and beautiful heritage setting made it feel like a true escape.

What made our stay even more memorable was the exceptional service from the team. Every interaction felt warm, genuine and thoughtful.

A special thank you to Jia Ming & Vivien, whose kindness and attentive care made us feel truly welcomed throughout our stay.

We were also pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness of our room attendant, Wang Li. He noticed that we were using more towels than usual from using the pool several times a day. Without us having to ask, ensured we always had enough replenished. It was such a simple gesture, yet it reflected the team's keen attention to guests' needs.

Breakfast each morning was another highlight. The staff, Nizam & Jeffrey were friendly, attentive and always one step ahead, making every morning a relaxed and enjoyable start to the day.

The Barracks is a peaceful boutique hotel with wonderful staff who made us feel very welcome. The grounds are immaculate, the colonial buildings are beautiful, and the pool area is a real highlight. Housekeeping was impeccable, and I loved having a filtered water tap in the room. It’s also well located, with plenty of restaurants nearby and Universal Studios within easy walking distance

The historical vibe with modern comfort, the staff and the service is top notch.

The cleanliness was good and service was great. Improvement suggestion: the lounge might able to close at 11pm instead of 8pm

I am of the mind that it's the people who can make or break the most thought through. sophisticated, polished, well intended hospitality concept - and the staff at Barracks simply exceeds all expectations. Helpful in a meaningful, human way, unafraid to step out of the comforts of the corporate playbook in a way you won't ever get at a big, anonymous fake smile luxury experience like say Marina Bay Sands. MBS is exceptional, Barracks obviously falls short on facilities and on-paper choice options, but the type of a luxury experience it offers seems to be largely forgotten by the world dominated by face, curated experiences. It's the old time, old world luxury, from day when you'd send your luggage and staff head of your arrival to prepare everything for you.

Back the second time after a great experience in 2022. It was pretty busy due to the long weekend - said room would be ready at 230pm the day before, but it took almost 2 hours before we checked in. Service was less memorable than our last visit, but huge shoutout to Zoey for offering a late checkout, helping us to pack the breakfast and lending us the charging cable!

Overall an alright stay.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. This was our second staycation with them. The first time was years ago but they still remembered us, felt like a second home.

The Barracks Hotel Sentosa is a small, low-density boutique hotel that delivers an exceptional heritage experience. The personalised service begins at the basement drop-off, where we had multiple heartwarming chats with Uncle Gopal, a wonderful security officer who treated us like family. Check-in was perfectly seamless, and Zoey intimately guided us to our room, making us feel instantly welcome.

We stayed in a pool access room, which was beautifully appointed with fancy colonial-themed fittings and premium tea. The patio features a semi-private jacuzzi stepping directly into the tranquil lap pool. Because the hotel is so exclusive, the pool and the curated green lawn outside remained blissfully empty and peaceful, even over the weekend.

The Living Room lounge concept is a major highlight. While the set-menu breakfast has limited options, dishes like the local kaya toast were excellent and sufficient. In the evening, the lounge transforms to offer free-flow drinks and an exquisite set of canapés and snacks that easily suffice as a complete dinner.

Upon checkout, we were touched to receive lovely keepsake postcards. The only minor hitch was that the complimentary parking coupons failed to work at the exit barrier, though we managed to get out anyway. It is a fantastic hidden gem that packs a massive punch in service and luxury.

The property location is amazing - quiet place but near the Imbiah station. Lots of restaurant around the area.
The staff were exceptional and the happy hour was noteworthy.

My overall experience was very smooth and enjoyable. The place is incredibly relaxing, and as someone who loves nature, I had the best time appreciating the scenery. It allowed me to find a peaceful space to unwind and reconnect with myself.
