Outstanding small hotel for a quiet stay
Pros:

This was just lovely for a 2 night quiet break at a small boutique hotel after a month long tour of NZ. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the facilities spotless and well kept, the rooms were very comfortable and well furnished. The pools were wonderful with plenty of sun beds! Lots of excellent events like free happy hour every day from 4pm with nibbles.

Schöne Unterkunft mit Toppersonal in ruhiger Umgebung
Pros:

Schöne überschaubare Anlage mit 2 Pools, perfektes Personal mit überdurchschnittlichem Service. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Apero am Abend. Man kann gut zu Fuß z.B. zum Aquarium und zur Seilbahn kommen.

Cons:

Wenn überhaupt etwas, dann vielleicht das Außenlicht, welches nachts ein wenig gestört hat.

Pros:

Die Highlights des Hotels sind das freundliche und bemühte Personal und die ruhige Atmosphäre. Die konsequente Designsprache im Kolonialstil macht den Wiedererkennungswert des Hauses aus. Das Frühstück wird a la carte serviert bzw. vorbestellt, wobei Qualität und Portionsgröße sehr gut waren.

Cons:

An einem Tag war das Personal mit dem Frühstücksservice etwas überfordert, sodass Bestellungen vergessen wurden, ansonsten hat aber alles perfekt geklappt. Das Schlafzimmer war nicht übermäßig geräumig, sodass man sich mit dem Gepäck gut organisieren muss.

Wunderschönes idyllisches Hotel, hier kann man gut entspannen. Sehr nettes freundliches Personal
Pros:

Sehr individuell und ruhig, es ist ein wunderschöner Ort, das Personal ist sehr nett und persönlich um jeden bemüht. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Wir verbrachten 4 Tage und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und gut erholt. Den direkten Zugang zum Pool und den eigenen Yakuzi haben wir sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind sehr originell eingerichtet und erinnern mit vielen Details an die Geschichte des Hotels. Danke an alle, die sich so liebevoll um uns bemüht haben ❣️

Wonderful hospitality
Pros:

Location
Close to the cable car, the aquarium (wich are both in itself places worth visiting) and very quiet and peaceful with the exception of the rollercoaster of Universal clearly audible. a very nice spot.
Rooms
We did. have the cheapest rooms, first floor balcony but it was all very fine. Large balcony, comfy beds, nice bathroom, all amenities you could ask for, clean and spacious. After all the hotels we have been in a new way to use the shower.
Negative
No way to hang towels to dry, a lot of light from the outside and not really soundproof.
Food.
If xou have the breakfast and the canapés included you hardly need anything else. Breakfast including the starters is a very satisfying meal very tasty ( and chili sauce means chili sauce) and a lot to handle. Canapés are from the volume in between are starter and an entree, very tasty and extremely well presented. Cocktails are well mixed and generous. Plus snacks free throughout the day.
Staff
This is where the hotel shines. After one of our two nights everybody knew our room number, water was served without ice and once my glasses broke they truly went above and beyond to help me. As you can see from my reviews I have staid at a lot of top hotels but the people there are memorable.
Public places.
Two large pools, more than enough places to lie down, all very clear, with a lot of birds flying around especially at sunrise.
All in all we only had two nights but two very memorable ones.
