Not worth the money.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast. Amazing concierge, Roy, who spent a lot of time recommending restaurants, advising on travel, booking a sardine tour etc. The reception area is beautiful and certainly has the wow factor.

Cons:

The staff. The woman usually on reception was frosty, no cheery greeting on arrival, and same from other staff when we returned. They locked the front doors at 11 didn’t tell us and we had to bang to be let in. A 5 star hotel should have a doorman. Bedrooms are small, no chair or desk and plastic light fittings.not even free water on offer.

Schönes klassisches Luxushotel.
Pros:

Das Bett war sehr bequem, schöne Einrichtung, vor allem der Lobby und des Speisesaals, freunliches Personal.

Cons:

Zimmer etwas klein, man kommt schlecht in die Badewanne wenn mach baden und nicht duschen möchte.

On my booking.com filter, I had only hotel rooms with bath ticked. This hotel room had no bath.

We had a very pleasant stay at Infante Sagres. We stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms, which was beautifully designed, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel itself has so much character and charm, while still feeling fresh and elegant. The staff were particularly welcoming and friendly throughout our stay and always happy to help. The location is also excellent, right in the heart of Porto and within easy walking distance of many of the city’s main sights, restaurants and shops. A lovely hotel and one I would happily recommend.

Cons:

The only small downside was the size of the room, which felt a little tight for two suitcases. For one person, however, it would have been absolutely ideal.
