Pros:

The banquet room was perfect. However I had to ask the lady at the front desk for a sign showing where we were. Last time we came there was a nice big sign on a stand. This time there was nothing.
Overall the cleanliness of the hotel was decent. The shower in our room could use some grout cleaner and the shampoo was empty. The dresser that the tv sits on is totally broken. I didn't need it anyway but you could see the drawers are in real tough shape and falling in. TV control was not very good or responsive. Towel linens are totally awful. Consistency of sandpaper. Can't you use sensitive skin fabric softener? They are brutal. Price of rooms were fair considering. Price of coffee and snacks in gift shoppe and restaurant are quite steep, except for the all u can eat breakfast is reasonable and delish. And would have liked to see the ice cream shop open at least for a few hours.
Employees were all exemplary! Very nice and fun.

What a joke
Pros:

What a joke! We booked for Valentine’s Day weekend. Arrived at check in time for them to say they are 30 minutes behind and we’ll receive a call when our room is ready. 3 hours later we went back to see the room status and were told our room wasn’t even close because they are understaffed. Meanwhile, we walked around and saw a cleaner kicking a trash bag around and staring at his phone. We asked to cancel so we could go home. We were offered a refund but denied any other compensation towards a future stay. Ridiculous. Awful customer service. If they knew at check out this morning they were this far behind, we should have received a phone call or email at any point before check in this afternoon to let us know. Instead, we hired a sitter for our children for the weekend, wasting money and our entire weekend.

Very disappointed in the quality of the establishment. Everything
Pros:

Being with family. The only thing you have going for you is the beach and pools for the children.

Cons:

I didn't like the atmosphere changes. It was very blah.
All the staff appeared to be new and inexperienced. They were kind but very poor service. Everyone was oin training.

Beds were so uncomfortable, the pillows were so soft they were awful and the floors in the room weren't cleaned each day But the food and staff were great and the beach is amazing

Pros:

I really liked the location and the hotel as a whole but my specific room wasn't very nice and niether were my family members. If I were to stay again I would book further in advance to get a nicer room.

Cons:

I found the room to be overpriced for what we received; it was comparable to a motel. Specifically, my room had a sewage issue, as there was often a foul smell of feces in the bathroom and hallway. I attempted to call the office for an air freshener, but no one answered. By the time I returned, the smell had dissipated, but it returned a day later.

The cleanliness of the room rated about a 4 out of 10. The door frames were dirty, and there was visible mold at the bottom of the shower door. Additionally, there was a garbage bin right outside the side entrance of our room that was constantly overflowing.

Moreover, the floor of our room felt oddly sticky and appeared dirty; it was vague enough that I didn't want to walk barefoot.

Would stay here again but bring my own beach chairs.
Pros:

The proximity to the bay, the gorgeous sunsets, the restaurants. The room was comfortable. The amenities are lovely (pools, hot tub, bar, hotel restaurants, and small gift shop were great.)

Cons:

I’d booked room in the main building and when I got there they wanted to put us in the farthest building from the main. A manager had to be called over and she was able to get us a nice room in the main building so I appreciated that.

None of the outside seating is ideal. The lounge chairs on the beach have three settings, none of which are sitting up fairly straight to make eating, drinking, and reading more comfortable. Regular outdoor chairs are adequate but not particularly comfortable.

The location was beautiful and rooms were very nice and clean.

Cons:

Staff was painting the hallway walls for a whole day, they were also doing maintenance by the bathrooms, constantly cleaning where guests were trying to relax or swim. Staff was very nice just kinda inconvenient timing with maintenance.

Waa adequate for the short stay
Cons:

The motion light right outside our room.
Bathroom ceiling light was not working.
Refrigerator needed defrosting. Huge ice build up in the back of the refrigerator. A small microwave in the unit would have been helpful.
More options for breakfast would have been better. $25 for a buffet breakfast is fine however there should have been other options for those who want a smaller breakfast.

It was good but could have been better
Pros:

I like the location and the beach front is awesome , the breakfast Buffet was so nice to.

Cons:

Last time we stayed here there were no issues, this time we had a couple issues with the room , one it wasn’t ready when we were told it was, 2 we asked for a water view we got a first acl room of the parking lot , we then were moved to the 3rd floor when we went to the room the keys didn’t work so we had to go back to the front seat to get them to activate , we were given a complimentary packaged breakfast item from the store, I was surprised at this seeing the Resort has a really good reputation, and to have a couple issues with our rooms over Labor Day weekend and to get a 5 dollar item for our hassle hmmmmm not good.

Turkey Day Delight
Pros:

I am a fan of the Hotel/Resort as I got married there in 2022. Since then I have turned to Emma N. in the front office to request rooms for our anniversary and she always helped me out! Unfortunately, I purchased property in the area and have not needed accommodations; however this past Thanksgiving I reached out to her regarding the Turkey Day Brunch. She kindly referred me to Yurri B. the Director of Food and Beverage. He set up my reservation, and was working on Thanksgiving so I was able to meet him. He was friendly and professional. It was getting busy and he was working hard to help all the guests. His team went above and beyond to make not just my experience, but the experience of every customer a memorable one. The rooms were beautifully appointed and the servers were extremely attentive. Then, the food.... absolutely amazing. Oysters, shrimp, crab claws; Lox and bagels, paella, chicken, pasta, soup, salad, carved turkey and beef (I am missing a few items). And the deserts were decadent. I only ate one meal this day! Hats off to Yurii, Emma and the whole Sea Crest team.

Weekend getaway.
Pros:

The view was amazing
And the staff was very friendly
The restaurant The Lantern has excellent food. The atmosphere was perfect.
Even though I was here in the winter.
I can't wait to go back in the summer.
I look forward to coming back.
