Poor
Pros:

This is my 10th year in a row coming and by far has been the worst experience. There were no towels ever available at the beach/pool. The lunch food took over an hour to get. There was 1 server on the beach who no fault of her own could not keep up with orders. There was no parking attendant in the lot and come to find out as we were talking to people on the beach they weren’t even staying there they just walk in and use the facilities. The Maui mats we rented are great but there should be a sign on the beach or mat that says rent the mats or reserved. Guests don’t know and it felt like we were policing our own mat all day. Our breakfast was wonderful, especially seeing Anita and Stacey. Anita is a ray of sunshine in a dimming environment. Always wonderful to see familiar faces.

Not worth the money. Overpriced with small rooms, ants everywhere, a shower door that wouldn’t stay closed, and a squeak
Pros:

The beach, which I could also went to the same beach that’s available to public!

Cons:

The room was very small, and there were ants everywhere. The bathroom door was very noisy every time it was opened or closed, and the shower door would not stay shut.

On the positive side, the beach was beautiful, the pool was nice and warm, and the kitchen staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Overall, the room was overpriced for its size, and there wasn’t much to do at the resort. My son even decided to leave early because he got bored.

Seacrest Beach Resort. The best place to vacation on cape cod
Pros:

The rooms are very comfortable. Especially the beds. We had an ocean front room with a patio. We could see and hear the waves. So relaxing. The weather was great. We enjoyed the most beautiful beach where they provided lounges, towels and umbrellas. We also used the huge salt water pool. So convenient. One day was cloudy and rained so we used the indoor pool with a hot tub. No matter the weather, there's something to enjoy. At night we sat around the outdoor fire pit. This was my 4th visit there. I keep coming back because it is so perfect. I have recommended this resort to friends and relatives. They think I am exaggerating until they see for themselves and they are surprised that it's even nicer than I said. Unfortunately I had a little trouble with my reservation because I tried to make it myself and I made a mistake. The manager was right on it and made sure that I got what I was trying to reserve and was so gracious about it. I would say that the hotel is great and that on a scale of 1-10, the manager is a 15!!! Her name is Milka. She is very professional, and she is very sweet. She's extremely attentive, making sure every guest leaves with a happy smile and a reservation to come back.

Great beach, but terrible service
Pros:

Awesome beach but the staff was not very helpful and didn’t seem to care. The only staff that was friendly and super helpful was Anita. They also give you wrist bands and a parking pass for use of the amenities but they did not monitor the pool and there were so many non guests using the pool they ran out of towels.

Steven Hachey recommends Sea Crest
Pros:

From the moment we walked in, we knew that we were in the right place. The pleasant Cape Cod charm warms the air, from the classic fire pit at the entrance all the way to the soft sand of Old Silver beach. The views from all around the resort are breathtaking, especially the stunning sunsets as seen from inside the Lantern Room. The food there is incredible, offering a wide variety from quintessential New England Clam Chowder to the many perfected pasta dishes. The experience is only amplified by the truly remarkable service, namely of Anita and Katie, who were among the kindest people we had met in some time. Beyond the restaurant, employees were there and smiling at every moment, from the attentive people down at Sea Crest Provisions to the kind cleaning staff. This is a must for a Cape Cod vacation.

Special place going down hill
Pros:

First and foremost, I reached out to the hotel directly about this over a week ago and have not received a response.

Unfortunately, we weren’t too satisfied with our stay this time at the Sea Crest. It is our third anniversary after getting married right at this resort in 2023 and we were very excited to spend it here for the third year since. We were very sad to see that when we checked in, our room was very different than in the past when booking the same room type. The room we were in seemed much more dated and was in the area that does not have elevator access. For the money we paid for a mid week stay, this truly was disappointing. Along with that the outdoor pool was closed on the one full day we were there, which was an amenity we were looking forward to.

The conditions of the resort were also a little disappointing. The grounds do not seem to be kept up from season to season and there is trash littered about. Everything seems to be warping due to the poor quality materials used. This isn’t the biggest deal, but when you are paying 700 a night for a basic room, you’d expect quality to match.

Most importantly, when the power was out at the resort on 7/15 (which of course is no fault of the Sea Crest) but we were not able to use our windows as none of them had screens with access to the roof. This made the room extremely hot for a toddler and myself at 7 months pregnant and we were unable to sleep until it came back on at 3:10 am. At 9:20 pm I had asked about checking out and a refund on the night as this was not a condition we wanted to pay top dollar to sleep in when we only live an hour away and was not given a response.

Unfortunately, this experience has put a very sour taste on a place that is extremely special to us. We come back every year and always recommend it to our friends and family, but this is making us question whether we want to return again.

Great visit, needs improvement in service
Pros:

Location is great, service was above average, food is good, but with limited options and maintenance would be appropriate at some parts of the resort. Teams need to streamline reaction when help is needed, as calling front desk did not result in any action, until a manager gets involved.

Location, location, location
Pros:

The Seacrest is all about location, location, location. Although the lobby and main building seem to have had some recent renovations, the outbuildings are tired. I was in building number one. The towel hook fell off immediately when I tried to hook a hand towel on it. The toilet paper holder spring was non-existent so the roll and roller kept falling off. There was a major power outage for over 9 hours during my stay, which obviously was not the hotel's fault, but there was no emergency lighting anywhere except in the parking lot, even the front desk only had flashlights. Signs were present on the outdoor food and bar areas throughout the stay stating that due to "technical difficulties" you could not charge things to your room or use AmEx, which was not a problem for me, but just another thing that could be an annoyance when staying at a higher end resort. The worst part for me was that prior to the power outage, I contacted the front desk on my way out for dinner to let them know that the toilet in my room was clogged. They stated that they would send someone out to take care of it. I returned to my room in the dark around midnight to find it still clogged. This was obviously a problem overnight. I understand that the maintenance folks were probably busy when the power went out (which was about an hour after I had first called) but a clogged toilet is not something that can wait. I had to call again on my way out the next morning to get it taken care of. Also, housekeeping doesn't show up until late afternoon (around 3:00 the first day, after 5:00 on the second day) so if you want to take a shower after the beach or before dinner, be aware.

Filthy and outdated
Pros:

Absolutely filthy. Stains all over the sheets, pee covering the bathroom wall, and dirt everywhere. They moved our room and the new room was better but not by much. This place is so outdated. A child cut there finger in the kiddie pool on all the broken tiles. It has so much potential if they renovate.

Front Desk Casandra was amazing Guiding you to a wonderful vacation
Pros:

The front desk customer service person Casandra was amazing. Friendly, resourceful and always had an answer to any question. The facility offered a beautiful beach, wonderful outdoor pool, and indoor pool, delicious food and so much more. Our stay was perfect. It was a fun way to spend time with family…. Especially sitting around the fire pit or watching the sun set on chairs overlooking the ocean.

Quiet Sanctuary and relaxation! On the beach…
Pros:

The location of this hotel/resort is amazing! What a dream to be able to just run to the beach from your room and have lounge chairs and towels waiting for you! The water here is warm and the staff are all extremely helpful and sweet. Beautiful Cape Cod escape away from the hustle and bustle of being further down on the Cape. This is a romantic and relaxing place to stay. Highly recommend checking this hotel out.

Once a Family Favorite, Now a Hard Pass. Our Last Stay After 4 Visits.
Pros:

We've stayed at the Seacrest four times over the years and have always loved it for the beach access, pools, and arcade the kids adore. This visit, in July 2026, will be our last.

Problems started at check-in. We'd reserved a fireplace King suite and a standard double queen room more than six months in advance. Instead, we were handed keys to two double-full rooms and told our reserved room types "weren't available." It took a 30-minute standoff at the desk, and producing our confirmation, before we were given a regular King (not the suite) and a standard double-full (not the queen).

The rooms themselves were rough. Damp, musty smell, sandy floors on arrival. No bathroom vent fans and windows that don't open meant wet bathing suits never dried. We resorted to blow-drying them every morning. One room's shower ran cold for four days straight, despite two maintenance visits where we were told the water was "fine." It took a third visit, and the nozzle being physically removed and reinstalled, before we finally got hot water.

Housekeeping was virtually nonexistent. No cleaning the first day. Day two, one bed was made, towels were taken and never replaced (a 2-hour wait got us nothing, so we showered with pool towels). Floors were never cleaned all week. Eventually we started putting our own trash in the hallway because no one ever emptied it.

The property itself feels neglected to the point that we were uncertain how they could possibly pass a health inspection. Pool bathrooms were filthy: wet floors, no soap, no toilet paper, bugs on the walls. The pools had visible debris (band-aids, hair ties, cups, wrappers, other trash) that never appeared to be cleaned or vacuumed in seven days. Tiles are all falling off the walls of the pool. Towels were perpetually unavailable at the pool and beach. Advertised dining hours were essentially fiction. The pizza place, breakfast/lunch hatch that no longer serves breakfast, and coffee shop all opened and closed at random, regardless of posted times. And security has vanished entirely; the guard booth sat empty all week while non-guests freely parked and walked onto the property with their own beach gear.

We asked to speak to a manager on three separate days and were told each time that no manager was on site.

Staff attitude was the final straw before the actual final straw. We overheard an employee in a Seacrest polo, on duty, chatting with friends about how her hungover coworker had to call out of work and how she hoped no guests would need help at the raft rental stand the next day so she could just lay out and tan.

Then, on our last night, the fire alarm went off in our room at 3 AM — lights flashing, blaring, three terrified kids screaming. I called the front desk repeatedly with no answer, went down in person to an empty desk, and eventually found a staff member in the back office who yelled at me for being back there. When I explained the alarm had been going off, he snapped "I didn't hear no ringing" before finally silencing it and telling me to relay to the morning desk that the smoke detector needed new batteries. We just wanted to leave.

We came in with realistic expectations, knowing the property had slipped in recent years. What we found was understaffing, unsanitary conditions, and a level of indifference from management that made clear this isn't a temporary rough patch. After many years of loyalty, we won't be back.

Our wonderful vacation
Pros:

We had the best experience from an Earth Angel called Cassandra!
We spoke on the phone before we got there and met her when we arrived.
We had a problem with our room and Cassandra fixed it for us.
It was our 30th wedding Anniversary and she went above and beyond to make it the best!
We will definately be back next year.
We had a ball!
