Pros:

卫生很糟糕，床单污渍，枕头套污渍，地上肮脏，厕所更肮脏，进去就看到厕所地上一堆头发，还有很多蟑螂🪳陪我一起睡觉，环境很嘈杂，半夜3点多还一直有人载说话，厕所水压很小

The hygiene was very poor. The bedsheets and pillowcases had stains, and the floor was dirty. The bathroom was even worse. When I entered, there was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor.

There were also many cockroaches in the room, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The environment was very noisy as well. Even after 3:00 a.m., people were still talking loudly.

In addition, the water pressure in the bathroom was very low.

Overall, I was very disappointed with the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodation.

Nice Option at the Heart of Georgetown
Pros:

- Great location and cheap option in Georgetown.
- The rooms are rather small but comfortable.
- Good customer service.

Cons:

- The photos on Booking.com as of May 2026 do not reflect the reality of the place, which is now much older.
- No windows in the room.

Pros:

Staff Wati. Professional and welcoming. Would definitely come again because of her presense and I'm glad she manage to help me out since these days technology advanced we don't carry much cash travelling for safety as a lady alone. Bless her heart.

Cons:

The morning staff, Indian lady. No smiles, rude and overly dominant to guests. The way she speaks to me as if she works for the police department and i owed her explanations. She said I'm troubling her with the less amount for deposit with management that will cari pasal with her. Excuse me? I'm shook to receive such response from her. I've been to 3stars and they do not speak to customers like this over deposit. I'm personally a Nurse and been in managerial position back in hotels & medical centres. I don't know how you hire her but she looks like she is not fit for role in front desk but better as warden or something related as long not hotels where people want to feel welcome especially infront of praying place temple. Have some respect, please train your staff.

Pros:

This is my 3rd stay at this hotel. Though it's an old building , without the extras provided by the newer and more posh hotels like breakfast or a pool, I like the many Indian eateries, both roadside stalls and restaurants that abound this hotel. A short walk away , at Carnarvon St, are many Chinese stalls that offer excellent char kway teow, mee soup and other Chinese delicacies at the night market that operate there after 6 pm.

Cons:

I stayed for 2 days at room 109 where the Aircon was excellent. I returned for another night and was given room 303. The air con was not that comfortably cool. Perhaps mgt can look into this.
