Perfect family getaway hotel
Pros:

Updated and clean rooms with great amenities! Friendly staff, amazing breakfasts and no pot smoke smell anywhere! Would go back again. Lots of young families!

Always stay here when heading to the upper peninsula.

Cons:

Breakfast was not ready on time. It was 6:50am and food was not set up so we had to leave without eating breakfast. The hotel said breakfast started at 6:30am and that was not true.

Couldn’t have a restful night
Pros:

Breakfast was satisfying.

Cons:

Having a room in the first floor right across the laundry area and very high traffic between other guests and staff was not a pleasant experience. It was very noisy and hard to sleep. The coffee and hot water dispenser were empty. The bathroom vent fan was so loud and the bed seems too small for a queen. I wish i was offered a room in the higher level.

Wanted to have a view of the BIG MAC BRIDGE, but didn’t want to be ON IT.

The traffic was sooo loud, literally feet from the freeway, couldn’t hear each other talk, hard to even hear the TV, even with the u
Windows and doors that really needed to be caulked, you could feel the air coming thru. Nice looking balconies, but deafening loud semis and traffic.

It was okay!
Pros:

Location was great. Didn’t eat breakfast here.

Cons:

For some reason when turning up the air, the whole room smelt on fire. Very strong smell. Very overwhelming at night. Had me nervous the unit would catch fire. Ended up turning it off and was cold all night.
