Facilities in general, helpful staff
The Doria Hotel is in a perfect location for a stay in Milan; it's close to two key metro stations and within walking distance of Milano Centrale.
While the room furniture is stylish and high-end, the functional aspects of the stay were disappointing. The bathroom requires urgent renovation; we dealt with a leaking tap that we couldn't shut off, and several other bathroom fixtures were either damaged or malfunctioning. Additionally, the A/C was quite noisy and operated on an uncontrollable hot-cold cycle.
The breakfast was underwhelming and certainly did not meet Italian standards. Aside from bread and hard-boiled eggs, there were very few quality options. To make matters worse, the coffee had a strange, chemical aftertaste. Great aesthetics, but poor maintenance and dining.

Hotel staff (reception, restaurant, and cleaners) were very friendly. Great location - quiet, but within easy walking distance to Milano Centrale. The hotel and rooms have an old world charm, but still very comfortable, with modern features. An excellent and extensive breakfast was included. We had dinner at the on site restaurant/bar one evening, which was excellent. Our waiter, Giovanni, was absolutely delightful.
There were a few small maintenance items in our room that needed attention that we forgot to report when we checked out (bathroom door was hard to close, English language channels on our TV had very poor reception), but these didn’t affect our enjoyment of our stay.

O café da manhã muito bom, a localização excelente, muito próximo ao metro, estação central, restaurantes e supermercado, conforto do quarto, recomendo fortemente.
