Cute decor, very clean, friendly welcoming staff, great bathroom
Great staff, good value
Pool could be cleaner
The location was nice.
It was freezing. Even with heater as high as it would go. The room stayed freezing cold. They charged my card 4 times which was definitely annoying and an inconvenience at 178 each time. Taking days for the extra charges to fall off.
We love this hotel! From breakfast to the atmosphere it is really neat. They have a restaurant that opens in the evening.
Nothing
Location, people and parking
Hallway carpet was nasty looking, having to pay for omelet, exterior wires hanging everywhere
We could not use the TV because it had some kind of parental control on it where it asked for a code. We called down to the desk with the room phone and got no answer. We tried to call on our cell phone but no answer. I went down to the front desk in my pjs and the girl there said she would send someone right up. We waited for 30 minutes and no one came. So I went down to the desk again and another girl at the desk said the guy was on break and would be back in 33 minutes. We waited another hour- then went to sleep. We just wanted to relax a little watch some tv for a wile then go to sleep- We had been on the road all day. We did not have anything else to do. We sat there for an hour and a half- we are very disappointed. When we checked out we told the staff of our experience. They did not really care. There was not enough staff and the staff that was there couldn’t care less.
The lobby and the bathroom sink were pretty extravagant. There was also a decent view of Pikes Peak from our room. The breakfast was pretty abundant and tasted great. The pool was fairly warm and relaxing, which was great as we have young children.
There were a couple of pretty annoying issues here. They made us change our room from a pet friendly room because we didn't have a pet, even though when I initially booked this wasn't even an option, so even though we called ahead to check in early we had to wait for a different room without a good idea of how long of a wait that would be. That's never great, when you have kids. The room was a decent size, but the beds were very stiff, and the kitchen space was pretty small with a super old microwave that didn't heat things very well. The fridge was also pretty small. The TV was set to an age restriction for a toddler or something, because even watching SpongeBob prompted a passcode for every new episode, which was thankfully just a bunch of zeros, but that was really annoying. The bathroom looked nice, but the shower button was shoved in all the way to the point of being broken making it impossible to actually have a bath, which was not ideal with two little kids. At one point our key cards stopped working, though that may have been due to us taking them on the mountain. The breakfast, while nice, was set up in a pretty confusing way. You have to check in for it and all they give you is paper plates, and then you go around like a buffet, but the area they set it up in is fairly cramped with a lot of people, so it was pretty overwhelming with the kids. They also advertise that they set out games after breakfast, but I didn't see them set out the games until at least the evening, and their "arcade" room is pretty lacking and difficult to locate. The hotel itself is also fairly difficult to locate as there isn't overt signage to indicate where to turn in, which isn't great as it's on a pretty busy road. Overall, it wasn't a horrible experience, but it was quite a bit more stressful than relaxing at some points. Definitely not the most kid friendly hotel.
Bed was comfortable
Carpet was filthy, breakfast was fair-poor.
Shades on window were torn
Friendly staff, good breakfast. Nice views.
Nice breakfast included.

The mountain view
The first night our bed was like a hammock. Gave a whole new meaning to meeting in the middle. The plumbing in the shower wouldn't drain. After complaining about our beds a very nice gentleman at the front upgraded us. Now my bed's head was right at the AC unit. The draining to the plumbing still sucked. We had to use stairs to get to our car fastest from the third floor and there was some crazy cat woman always watching us. Not worth $150 a night. The restaurant at the hotel had nothing but adult drinks. No food! I have no idea how in the world this hotel classifies as a four star! One star for me
Location and the lobby area with pool was very tropical with all the sunken seating area surrounded by real plants and trees indoors. Most of the staff (especially front desk) were so kind and professiona
Staff and guests literally sat right at the front entry way on a bench smoking. There was always someone sitting there smoking and the entire front area inside stank like cigarettes. The pool was closed down for maintenance each day which made people have to change plans. The hallway outside my room had dirty dishes lining the wall the entire time I was there. I told front desk that it was gross to have the same dishes sitting there for over
