The location of the hotel. The large lobby and pool area was nice. The pillows on the bed were comfortable.
The long maze like arrangement of the hotel rooms with us being the farthest from the lobby. The rooms are dated and dark. One lamp in the room didn’t work and another one sometimes worked. The free breakfast was less than usually experienced at most other hotels and was disappointing. Having to hold the lever to the toilet for a long time for it to properly flush was annoying.
Convenient location, close to restaurants outside USAFA
Everyone was so nice the place was clean and taken care of. They buffet breakfasts m9o fault 3as great it just totally suckered there wasng. no hot tub and that was booking.coms fault fir not fact checking and updating information in more than 8 years. 8 years is an incredibly long time to not do any updates. Things always change over time and I'm extremely disappointed to have to pay the penalty of your la@iness.
The booking site showed there was a hot tub jacuzzi on site. There has been not jacuzzi there in over 8 years. The whole apprised fairly ofter. reason we go to motels for get aways is to soak in a jaccu@zi or hot tub.i have arthritis a d hot water is very soothing a d therapeutic. We were disappointed that your Imgo wasnt accurate and this happens fairly frequently we have even canceled bookings over it. I try to verify because most of the time you can't get your money back if you cancel. This is the biggest issue with booking for me. Other than that I am very pleased with your service and it's much easier to navigate than other motelvsites. However counting on a place to have do.ething theyte don't have is becoming van issue because it comes up more and more. Please make dome effort to update and edit your listing do they are up to date. 8 years is a long time I can't become only one disap.pionted
Comfortable room.
The internet only works at 6AM and the breakfast is the same everyday.
The room was big a spacious. It has a mini fridge and a microwave.
They initially gave us rooms with no elevator access (I didn't know that would exist in Colorado), but thankfully one of our party could change to a room with elevator access, so we ended up sharing a room with two beds. The bathroom sink was clogged for one day when we first arrived. The hotel has no cribs so we had to buy one travel crib. The facility is obviously old with ducktape on the window blinds, the tv takes about 5 minutes to start responding to the remote, no one changed our dirty towels between days even though we piled them on the bathroom floor, the shower the pool water looked murky - you could not see through it - so I didn't trust to swim in it with the lack of attention that was brought to other matters. Perhaps the single most annoying thing was that I was told I wasn't allowed to bring a little food (seriously like 75 grams of scrambled egg) back from the buffet to my room to feed my baby who was at the time sleeping because "we weren't allowed", even though they have a fridge and microwave in the room and otherwise sell frozen pizzas as other foods for sale to eat in your rooms!
The pool
It was nice but very out dated and old. Having a window that faced the atrium is not what was expected and the fridge with microwave were old and the bathroom with no fan was gross
The atrium and location
Old furniture
Cool 70 hotel
A lot of High staff . But food staff was great .
Front desk lady was high
Cook was high
Great beds super comfy
Nothing
The facility was well maintained and the room clean and comfortable. The
The facility had significant problems the days we were there. The electronic key system faulted and we were locked out of our room for a period of time. After being let in the room we could not leave because the door could be locked after they reset things. The young lady at the desk, Curtis (housekeeping )and Alejandro (maintenance) were going above and beyond their responsibilities to try and take care of the customers. There was no one from management to be found.
The manager recommended we eat in the hotel restaurant because it was excellent. When we went in to eat, we were told the restaurant was changing menus. As a result, the menu they handed us had most of the items crossed off. Essentially there was little to select from the kitchen. The waitress was working very hard to trying to make the best of a bad situation.
The hotel had lots of potential, good location, nice room and a great breakfast buffet. Regrettably, the weekend may have been a perfect storm not reflective of normal operations.
Clean and quiet. Located close to where we needed to be
The ease of check in- the common area had a lot of seating & the location of the hotel to the Base was very nice as well as store near by.
when we arrived Check in was easy. Our room was musty smelling & very old looking & just below standards. We were there for the USAFA grad & Wedding so no other rooms were available to switch too. I work up the next morning itching from some type of allergic reaction. I requested a room change then & was denied. room was very outdated, dusty, & ours in particular was #146 smelt of moisture & the hall way as well. The AC was kept on the entire time trying to recycle the air in the room which wasn't much help. The WIFI was awful, the TV is just direct tv not smart tv or any options there & were traveling with kids as well. The bed frames had wood sticking out from the support being broken & the mattresses were awful! so old & uncomfortable, for the price it was a disappointment for sure.
The lobby is beautiful. The rooms are clean and the breakfast buffet was good.
There was no shampoo in the bathroom.
The breakfast was absolutely awful is disgusting and the pool was of course closed after I had just told the receptionist that I was there to spend the day in the pool and enjoy the pool she told me I could wait by the pool until my room was ready walked over there it's closed the entire day and night till the next day so I was not impressed and I did not renew for a second night
The bed was comfortable.
The screaming kids in the pool area.
