I was confused by the place but they honestly did give me the information on how to get in except one small detail. It's fine though. The place was very quiet. There's a lot of door codes and cameras. The bathroom was leaking from the ceiling. The room is perfectly clean. But I didn't realize there's no private bathroom. No bugs. No funny smells. However, I think it's overpriced for what it is: communal bathroom, hidden, kiosk hotel.

A surprisingly well priced little gem. A little tricky to find, once inside it’s a tidy and clean haven from the bustling world outside. We stopped for a short night after flying in and checked in (with a super-friendly lady) at about 23:30!
Bed was very comfy and The Botanist room was lovely and had a private bathroom. A lovely little find for a low price!

Staff stayed up to let me in at 1 am in the morning. Were very friendly and welcoming and helpful in arranging a grab Taxi to take me back to the airport. Room is basic but comfortable and clean.

The short distance to the airport is ideal to stay here before departure (like we did) or after arrival. Also, the traffic coming/going from/to the airport was manageable thanks to direct road connections crossing the highway. To get into the city or Tanjung Aru beach, we used Grab which worked fine and was not very expensive. Still, to really enjoy downtown KK we would recommend to pick a hotel in the city to have everything in walking distance (e.g. the Horizon Hotel).
The rooms are modern and looked as nice as on the pictures, the bathroom and shower were also in a very good condition. The staff we met was very friendly and we liked the option to have a shared fridge outside the room for some snacks and drinks. Wifi was good and worked perfectly. Otherwise it is very much self service and you get a code for your door instead of a key. The hotel is on the upper floors of a business/mall building, downstairs are plenty of restaurants and shops, very convenient. If you arrive by car, you should be able to find parking space in the garage (free).
The automated check-in procedure with passport scanning using a terminal similar to self-check in booths at an airport was not really that smooth, but we were greeted by an employee who was happy to assist us. Maybe not the easiest option for travellers that are not too comfortable with the digital world :-)

Self check-in option is efficient and effective. Great vibes deco, and cleanliness is good. Setback : sewage system - there was foul smell from the drainage in the toilet area.

Service - it all starts with WhatsApp. Helping you with the check in and stuff. If you come during the operating hours, staff is friendly and will help you with the check in. Otherwise very easy to do it yourself.

Rooms - it really depends which theme you have. They are all nicely decorated in a specific theme. We slept in 3 different rooms: musician, artist and barber. We liked the artist the most. Rooms aren’t big but fun decorated. Clean enough. Hot showers but don’t forget to switch on the “hot water light”. At the barber it was too noisy. You could hear all the cars passing by.

Amenities - no idea, because we seriously only were there for sleeping.

Breakfast - not sure if they offer.

Location - very close to the airport, super convenient for early departures or late arrivals.

Price - fair / affordable.

The staff was very kind helping us navigate the check in. The “king and twin” room was very spacious. There were local options for eating around as well as conscience stores. Great for our one night stay before our flight the next morning.

너무 별로입니다….. 일단 너무 습하고 꿉꿉해서 이불을 덮고 싶지 않구요 가장 중요한건 밖에서 자는 기분이 들 정도로 밖 소음이 다들립니다. 옆방 소음도 다들려서 오토바이소리 차소리 옆방 알람소리로 2-3시간 잔거같네요
차라리 이럴거면 공항 캡슐호텔이 나을 뻔 했어요…..

協助入住及升級的安排非常理想

Instructions was given 1 day ahead before arrival on how to get to the location, it is 5mins from KKIA. The property is clean and unique. Love the concept!! Recommended

카톡으로 상세하게 체크인 방법이랑 찾아오는 길 알려줘서 좋았어요. 공항에서 택시타고 가면 BANK MUALAMAT AEROPOD 이라는 곳으로 그랩 타고 가세요 여기 바로 옆에 호텔로 들어가는 상가건물 문이 있어요 찾아오는 길 카톡 제대로 안 읽고 더 아틀리에 찍고가니 그랩기사가 혼란스러워 했어요ㅜㅜ 내리는 곳도 뒷편으로 내려줘서 저 뱅크 찾아서 한참 돌았음.. 방은 작지만 예쁘고 전망 좋고 잘 꾸며져있어요 베이커리방에서 묵었어요 다만 방음은 잘 안돼요..옆방이랑 복도소리 생생하게 들려요 새벽비행기로 도착하고 잠깐 묵을 가성비 숙소로 추천~

A nice and cozy boutique hotel located near the Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Transport via Grab to and fro the airport is convenient, even at odd hours. There is also a few eateries and convenient stores located at the ground level. The malay store just below opens till almost midnight.

The self check in and check out is unique, available at all hours, but not the most user friendly. Luckily the hotel team is very responsive via Whatsapp and is very helpful and polite!

The rooms are all designed with unique themes, and are well maintained and clean. The shower facilities are really good as well, with some basic toiletries provided. It’s unfortunate that we only had a very short stay here. Would very likely stay here again if I come to KK for a layover again.

As it is very near the airport runway, expect to hear some noise from the aeroplanes landing, and the sound proof is also not the best as noise from the rooms beside could be heard if they’re loud.

This is definitely the most technologically advanced hotel that I have stayed in! Detailed Check-in instructions are sent via WhatsApp. Check-in and check out are automated. Floors are accessed via key card and rooms via code. I loved the themed rooms and creative look of the hotel. I opted for the Musician room with ensuite, which was very clean and comfortable with a water cooler in the hall available to guests, in addition to the tea and coffee facilities. I also noted that the shared bathrooms are also very modern and clean. The TV service has a good selection of entertainment.

I chose this hotel for close proximity to Kota Kinabalu airport, as I stayed for a stopover between flights but wish I had stayed longer. In spite of a lot of self-service, staff are still available on WhatsApp. I had a minor problem where I'd been accidentally left with shampoo and no shower gel, I contacted the staff and they delivered some in the middle of the night. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and I would definitely stay here again!
