Pros:

We had a great time. The location of Knockshannoch is THE BEST in Charlotte pass - with guest services (ski hire and lift passes) just across the lane it is one of only a few places in Charlotte pass with a genuine ski in and ski out location. Highly practical ski storage and drying room in the entrance. Excellent food - not just breakfast (the Wotif listing was misleading when we booked) but three meals a day! Including a three course dinner prepared by a friendly chef who was happy to make adjustments and/or side orders for my rather picky child. I could not recommend Knockshannoch more highly. The shared recreation spaces are comfortable and cosy - with books and games. We booked Monday to Friday which lines up well with the Charlotte pass resort package that includes the Over Snow transport from the ski tube. Excellent value! Great staff! And only recently opened up to non-member stays.
