The staff were great and very welcoming, the room was incredibly clean and everything was perfect for a quick trip through on travels.
I wasn't given the opportunity to like anything.
I didn't realize i left my id at home and while i was contacting home to get a pic of id and passport sent to my phone, the front desk W
woman canceled my reservation! I was trying to get the id and did NOT want to go elsewhere. I was exhausted and back pain was excruciating from 8 1/2 drive and had an 8 year old. I told her I couldn't just leave. But she took it upon herself to cancel the room while i was being both IDs sent! I checked and there were two rooms available on the website but she said she booked my room and all rooms were booked! She was not apologetic or kind or understanding of my situation.
After several calls, I found a room at The Hampton Inn in LaPorte, further away and more expensive, no hot tub for my back injury. My guy friend is an IHG and Hampton Diamond member. But i will NEVER book with IHG after the way i was treated and no kindness or understanding. I was in so much pain!
See above - the way the front desk spoke to me and treated me was totally unacceptable, rude and unprofessional, not to mention not having an ounce of compassion or patience!
The staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good wifi and breakfast.

Room was clean and comfy, bathroom was clean. Breakfast was great, fitness room was well equipped. The staff even left a handwritten birthday card for my girlfriend which was so super sweet we really enjoyed it
Staff great, clean and fairly well put together. Basically it was what i expected from Holiday Inn.
The price was WAY over what I would expect to pay for a Holiday Inn in that location. It is next to a bunch of strip malls and an abandoned parking lot, so I cannot see how the $272 a night price is justified. I was in a hole and had basically no other option hence why I went. But it was a lot of money for what is essentially a very average hotel in a sub average location.
The breakfast selection was excellent. The staff, especially the front desk and breakfast servers, were so kind and helpful.
Our room wasn’t ready when we got there, even though it was after three. One of the elevators was out of order, which I’m sure isn’t the staff’s fault, but it was certainly an inconvenience. The bathrooms near the pool were dirty, with sand and hair on the floor and poop marks in the toilet. The pool was nice, but pretty small. We are a family of four and there was another family of five in there with us and there wasn’t much room for everyone to play. We left when another family got there because there just wouldn’t have been much room. We used a hotel crib for our toddler and while I appreciated not having to bring our own, it was very small and uncomfortable and she ended up not sleeping in it.
I loved the room. Best room set up. 2 queen bed room.
