Heel leuk restaurantje en erg lekker ontbijt. De kamer viel een beetje tegen. Was er klein en een beetje oud maar de badkamer was erg fijn!

Een top verblif met alleen maar plussen.
Pros:

Dit is een top hotel. Ik heb er al heel wat bezocht in Indonesië. Deze is echt heel goed. Vriendelijke mensen, sfeervol, fijne kamer, heerlijk restaurant. Sommigen vonden de straat niet fijn. Dit pand bevindt zich tussen oude pakhuizen die deels nog gebruikt worden. Dit hotel is een schitterend verbouwd pakhuis. In de oude brandkasten wordt nu wijn bewaard! Het is niet in het centrum met als voordeel rust. Geen storende moskeegeluiden. Dat is voor ons een belangrijk pluspunt. Wel zit je dichtbij China town met leuke eettentjes. Met een taxi ben je zo in het historische centrum: de Roode brug, Willemsplein enz. Kortom, een aanrader!

Hall, ristorante e zona piscina molto carini. Camera discreta con letto pulito. Personale disponibile!

Cons:

Purtroppo il bagno non era in ottime condizioni: doccia intasata e maniglia non stabile. Si può migliorare la pulizia del bagno.

Top-tier within its class. Best among the 3 hotels I stayed in Surabaya, yet the cheapest.
Pros:

Hospital staff with sincere smile. Good breakfast with a great variety of food. Decent environment with many admirable details in design and decorations. Walkable distance to Atom shopping mall with many local shops and restaurants and a food court with many local choices (closes early). Walkable distance to China town, spice market and the monument post office (the only place where you can buy stamps and post cards in town). Swimming pool is clean.

Cons:

Gym is just a room with dumbbells.

Een super hotel
Pros:

Kwamen laat in de avond aan.
De weg ernaar toe was 's avonds verlaten en zag er niet echt uitnodigend uit. Overdag is het er echter gezellig druk met bedrijven en erg aardige mensen.

Het hotel zelf is prachtig. Je ziet het al als je aan komt rijden.
Kamers zijn groot en super schoon.
Het personeel is ontzettend aardig, het ontbijt(buffet) heel erg uitgebreid en lekker.
Er zijn geen eettentjes in de buurt, maar het eten in het restaurant van het hotel is super en betaalbaar.

Upgrade gekregen naar een superiorkamer met 2 aparte bedden (Had per ongeluk een standaard tweepersoonskamer geboekt.)

Zou nog bijna vergeten het zwembad te vermelden. In één woord heerlijk.

Ik kom hier zeker terug als ik weer in Surabaya ben.

Pros:

The staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. They really are the soul of the place. The welcoming area and the restuarant area are really lovely with nice touches. The pool is clean, and there are towels available if you ask for them. The shower was really hot, and that in itself is unusual for Indonesia.

Cons:

Nothing to complain about but to be aware. The immediate area is more industrial but it is close to the river so taking a cab across to the other side of the river is advisable.
