Why is Sydney accommodation so expensive for a very basic room?
Pros:

Easy to get to and parking was easy too. Quiet and fairly big room

Cons:

Bathroom was mouldy (you would think for a hotel that is cleaned after each guest they could keep it under control) we weren’t given enough towels for the number of guests and only 4 pillows on 2 double beds!

There was mold in the shower. Shower head was broken, windows didn't open ( they generally do)
Requested clean towels, had to get it myself as no one came.
Didn't get the daily room clean.
I have stayed here before during busy season and it was excellent, now it lacked in service. Will be booking elsewhere next time I'm in Sydney.

Mediocre at best.
Pros:

Good Location, 24 hour check in and the man at the front desk was lovely and upgraded us to a twin which was nice

Cons:

I had to ask for a portacot 3 times in a 2.5 hour period, when it finally came it was broken and so I asked for a different one which took another half an hour. They have nothing in the minibar fridge so I called down to ask for a bottle of water and again had to call 4 times within 2 hours (couldn’t leave the room as baby was asleep) I ended up just ordering water off uber eats. The bed was triple sheeted which always makes it feel super clean but the sheet on the bottom of the doona was obviously a single sheet so the bare doona was what i had to sleep with. Tv has no option for streaming services or casting. Shower was dirty and fan vent was so dusty and filthy it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a year. Also - there is no lights in the room? Just lamps which is the weirdest thing ever. Overall for paying $350 a night it was pretty disappointing and I wouldn’t stay again. The only reason it warrants even 6 stars is because of the customer service of the man who checked us in and the fact that it was in a good location and had parking

Disappointed
Pros:

Location, is close to nice restaurants

Cons:

The bedroom was dirty, not enough lights. The pool sauna was closed during our stay, the jacuzzi only was open for one day, so you pay a Fair amount of money and you can’t use the hotel facilities.
