Wrong information on the website and no employees there to solve the problem on time!
It says 24 hr front desk but they're closed at 10pm without any notice!
Location was OK.
We had reservations for the Friday that RIT was graduating. This explains why every room in town was either rented or going for 40% more than they should. We arrived at 3:15 for our 3pm check-in. The hotel explained how they were fully booked and limited on housekeeping and to come back in 45 mins. We found something to do and came back an hour later. None of the rooms were available at that time too. We went outside by the canal inlet next to the hotel and waited some more. Finally around 5:30 a room was available. I checked in and paid the room rate. The lady at the desk said there was an additional $100 deposit. Ok, fine, that's a standard issue type thing. Got the room key and went to the room only to find some heavily stained sheets hiding under the comforter. My wife went back up to the front desk and rather than having housekeeping fix the issue she was handed a set of sheets. After an evening in downtown Rochester we came back and slept in the cleaner sheets and used our packed clothes as a comforter. We left in the morning to continue our trip. After 5 days the $100 deposit still hadn't been refunded to my card. No one at the hotel or parent company admitted any overcharging and did not refund the $100. I'd suggest not booking with this hotel if possible. This place is a certifiable dump. It's one of those long term residency type places. Walking around the building to waste time you could see missing screens, broken windows and cars that haven't run in years. There is a respectable hotel not more than 100 yards toward the main road.

The TV finally got fix,
I didn't like check in, waited about 20 minutes or longer. no ice machine, used soap in the shower, wash cloth and towels had big black spots, dirty or old worn towels. crumbs and trash along the walls
service was awful , not clean at all no soap carpet was not clean , they suposed to refund de[osit still waiting they never answered the phone , garbage all over the parking and entrances avoid this place !!!!!

I didn't stay there I was told to leave when I arrived and no rooms for me. The fire alarm was going off. Someone was working on the fire alarm control panel
I didn't like booking a room to be turned away when I arrived. I didn't like being told I didn't have a room to later be charged as a no show. I am proceeding with fraud reports

my reservation was not honored, "system down" no help from booking nor front desk staff. you could tell ac was not working, room keys were failing, holes in drapes
Really appreciated all that the staff tried to do to care for us. The room was ok. Mattress was awful and needs replaced. Also the smell down the hallway of cigarettes and marijuana was too much for us.
There was no communication ahead of time about the hotel being closed by the city and studio 6 buying it the week of our stay. There were only 4 staff who were not being backed by leadership or owners. The staff did all they could working 16hr days and still could not keep up with the maintenance reasons it had closed or the cleaning. One of our rooms could never get keys that worked. We booked a king bed and a room with 2 doubles. Both were switched to single queen rooms because that’s all the staff could get to within their limitations. I feel studio 6 has failed those 4 staff members and all of its guests at this time.
