Worst hotel ever

The employees were very nice.

Where should I start? This run down, smelly, dirty and loud hotel was probably the WORST hotel I've ever stayed in. It doesn't look like the facility has seen paint or hammer in the last 10 + years. My room might have been cleaned but I doubt it. The sheets were off color, the shower literally dribbled hot water which took 10 min to warm up barely enough to use.. I don't know if there was fumes or something in the room but I woke up in the middle of the night so nauseated that I was sick repeatedly. I should have cut my losses then but I had two days booked. Went to my event and returned the next afternoon. The hotels idea of sanitation was to put down carpet fresh and not vacuum it back up. So I walked through a dust cloud of carpet cleaner to my room and was immediately sick again. I was very lucky a relative could put me up so I checked out around early and just abandoned the rest of my reservation. I can not stress enough how bad this hotel is and I can not say anything good about it

I’ve stayed at better rest stops along the highway than this place.
Pros:

Nothing really to like. It just happen to have an available room when I needed it for a quick trip to Rochester.

Cons:

People in the hallways all night. Pretty sure this has people renting rooms like apartments. A school bus dropped off kids after school. The front desk lady was banging a room door for 20 mins because the person inside stole cleaning products and the cleaning cart. Whole place smelled like cigarettes and weed. The paint was peeling off the shower walls. Tub was rusty. Room smelled like mildew.

Bad. Bad bad!!!! Bed had bed bugs in it. Room 107. Some of the staff was wearing ankle monitors.

We had came from out of town booking 5 rooms. When we saw that one of our family members room 107 had bed bugs. We all cancelled our rooms and had to find another hotel to stay in. Which was so inconvenient to us. Bad business!!!

Cons:

I never got to even see the place, I was half way there and got a phone call that the place was closed. So I had to scramble to find another place. I was told during my phone call about the cancellation of another hotel and they would honor the reservation price, it they did not. I had to pay almost double in price.

Pros:

I'd advise calling the property to make sure there are rooms available before making a reservation. You might arrive to find out all the rooms are booked and you're out of a spot for the night.

The staff was nice

Cons:

There were no towels in the room. I had to purchase my own from the Dollar General store. And when I did ask for some towels from the customer service desk, I only received one set of towels. Also, there was dog poop outside everywhere.
