Initially, I was surprised by the offer, but then I realized that OYO's management is based in India. I had assumed that the compensation was being offered to address the uncomfortable situation I encountered at the property. However, it seems there may have been a clerical error, where IDR was mistakenly converted to INR.
Regardless, I am rejecting your offer of 96,124.2 INR (18,401,669.94 IDR) or 5.90 USD. I do not require this amount as compensation. Please keep this amount.
Instead, I request that you refund the full amount I originally paid, which is 640,827 IDR, directly to my credit card. If my request is not honored, I will be left with no choice but to share my experience online. I plan to create a viral video detailing my experience at SUPER OYO 866 Idola Residence and post it on various social media platforms. This is my right as a consumer.

Prepayment and check-in issue: Despite paying in advance via credit card, we found that the rooms did not meet even basic expectations upon arrival. This caused us to cancel our booking and decide not to check in. If we did not check in, I fail to understand why I should not be refunded in full.

Affordable, the location suited me, AC worked.
The room was dirty and full of mosquitos, bad smell, very stained bed. That was the main problem. Even for the money it was worse than what you would expect. Another issue was that it was really hard to find as there is no sign with this name (instead there is a sign "terima kost") and the building has been repainted as well, so it looks nothing like the pictures.
