I’d come back. It was great but I’ll always turn up the heat
Pros:

Close to everything. Restaurant was amazing. Staff top to bottom were great

Cons:

It was freezing. Hall ways, walk to pool. In the pool. Bedroom and crazy draft around windows. Im Canadian so please understand when I say it was cold I’m being legit l.

J ai trouvé votre stationnement hors de prix 60 $ / jour...j'ai dû me stationner au centre des arts grrrr...en plus j'ai reçu un avis m informant la fermeture de votre piscine aux dates que j y serai grrr... il ne y avait aucune mention de l'entretient de la piscine a ces dates là quand j'ai choisi mon hébergement et c'est certain que Fairmount était au courant de l'entretient de la piscine a venir grrrr...je me sens flouée!!

Located close to everything, comfortable and friendly. As a bonus... gorgeous!
Pros:

Staff is very friendly. Concierge will help you with planning your afternoon. The drain in our shower was clogged/slow, but a call down to the front desk got it fixed very quickly. We will stay there again! We went to "skate on the Rideau" as well as see parliament, eat at Byward Market, tour the cathedral, the art gallery and the mint (all of which were in easy walking distance).

Cons:

We removed two beers from the fridge to cool some water -- the fridge has sensors, so we were charged for the beers on checkout. However, they corrected the bill without issue (since the beer were still in the fridge).

Great staff, room, beautiful property, I wouldn’t bother to eat there again.
Pros:

Lovely property, most staff were very helpful and service oriented

Cons:

The restaurant experience was sub par. The walk up bar men were great, the waiter barely took care of us after a long day in the car. We all work in the service industry. We were basically ignored, I had to ask for the bill. Not the kind of service you’d expect from a property like this.

Underwhelming
Cons:

Zoe's lounge- lots of hockey teams (kids), parent in track suit while others dressed up for New Years Eve. A guy vaping at the bar more than once, not even trying to hide it. A fight almost broke out! Is this not supposed to be a classy place? This ruined our New Years Eve, food was underwhelming and very expensive, had better food at every other restaurant we went to. Would never stay here again or go to Zoe's again.
