The location was excellent, the staff were incredibly friendly, the lobby was lively and active, and the views from many rooms were spectacular.

Great historical building, great location but unacceptable level of cleanliness and lack of facilities.

Pool area not maintained, stairs leading there are damaged and the women lockers/ change/ shower area have a very bad smell and really run down.

The room was quiet but when attempted to use the plug behind the bed noticed a large amount of dust. This place needs renovation improvement in facilities and a deep clean up plus add on of facilities: sauna, hot tubs, add ventilation to pool areas, the change and shower area. Plus is not accessible for people with disabilities.

Gorgeous hotel in a wonderful location. Worth the splurge!
Pros:

Beautiful hotel in a good walkable location to many sites. Entire staff went above & beyond to make us feel extra special during our 40th anniversary stay. We only told the front desk the celebration purpose of our visit, yet everyone on their staff knew and went above & beyond to pamper us.
