Wij hadden een royale kamer in een soort berghut met uitzicht op Bilbao.

Super Lage; man darf keine Rückenprobleme haben
Pros:

Sehr praktisch gelegen. Ausserhalb vom Zentrum, mit der Standseilbahn jedoch schnell erreichbar, man muss mit dem Auto nicht ins Verkehrschaos.

Cons:

Für uns war das Bett leider ein reinfall. Wir haben beide ziemlich schlecht geschlafen, weil die Matratze viel zu hart war.

Pros:

Da wir ein zimmerupgrade erhielten, hatten wir ein super großes und komfortables Appartement.
Es war sehr schön mit tollem Ausblick und es hat an nichts gefehlt.
Das Personal war sehr nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.
Sehr gute Lieferung bis ans zimmer bei Essen Bestellung, wenn man mal die Ruhetage und Restaurant Zeiten verpasst hat.
Frühstück ist super lecker und ausreichend vorhanden, die Dame am Buffet war auch sehr hilfsbereit und lieb.

Cons:

Es kann beim Frühstück hektisch und stressig werden, wenn das Hotel ziemlich ausgebucht ist.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The car park is a good size so parking was easy, there is a bus stop right by the entrance to the hotel site with a bus service directly into the city. Breakfast is available at an additional cost but was fresh with plenty of choice.

Cons:

Our room was on the first floor in the roof area, the weather turned very warm and so it was uncomfortably hot at night. There was no air conditioning but a very noisy fan. On the second night the local dogs decided to bark to each other all night and as we had to have the windows open it was impossible to sleep. The room did feel very cramped and stuffy.

Ontbijt was super luxe vers gemaakt uitgebreid. Hele vriendelijke ontvangst en behulpzaam personeel. Hele snelle reactie en makkelijk te bereiken via whatsapp. Uitgebreide uitleg over bereikbaarheid van het hotel. Goede bedden, erg schoon. Dagelijkse schoonmaak.

Heerlijk rustig plekje buiten de drukte van Bilbao
Pros:

Een wat 'autenthiek' hotel met een prachtig uitzicht op Bilbao. Weg van de hectiek van de stad en toch sta je met het treintje (twee minuten rijden van het hotel) in no time in het midden in de stad en ben je op korte loopafstand van het Guggenheim. De kamer en douche waren niet groot en het bed kleiner dan thuis maar we hebben prima geslapen en lekker kunnen douchen. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en uitgebreid. De ontbijtruimte heeft maar zes tafeltjes dus het hotel werkt met een tijdslot. Prina oplossing want zo kan iedereen rustig ontbijten. Het hotel heeft ook nog een grote tuin met een paar ligstoelen (geen gebruik van gemaakt). Wij vonden het een heerlijke, rustig plekje voor een dagje Bilbao (op doorreis naar Picos de Europa).
