We have stayed at this location two previous times so we knew the location and what to expect.

Cons:

There are stray dogs that go onto the property that were aggressive towards us since we travel with our two dogs. I would have given it a better review if these dogs were not there.

If I was to visit Rosarito again, this hotel is a great place to stay.
Pros:

The hosts of the Solari Casa are very gracious and accommodating. The hotel is in a good location (close to a University and a local transportation station) and has some excellent cafes & restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is well-priced and well-maintained.

Practical economical stay
Pros:

While I had no problem with this because I have a personal delight and appreciation for dogs in general. I know that there are some others that might have been frightened and put off by the dogs (number and size) and may never have even made it to check-in (You are greeted by the pack as you approach the property), which would be unfortunate as it likely would have been a pleasant stay as mine was.

Cons:

I would have appreciated having 24hr access (via key or other reasonable means) to the lobby area where the microwave is located.
