The location was beautiful, thr staff were friendly and thr breakfast was nice.
The hotel room wasn't up to standard. There was little bits of blood stains on the sheet. The carpets were a bit dirty. Changing rooms in spa needed a bit of a clean and thr gym was mucky!

The food was awful. We paid 70 pounds for 2 entrees that tasted like a freezer reheated food. Elevator was broken and spa hours weren't good

Lovely spacious, clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Enjoyed the access to the gym, which was very well equipped.
It wasn't that I didn't like, but felt that breakfast could have been a little more organised. I had to ask what the breakfast set up was when my room number was checked.. it was quite busy and you were left to find your own seat, things were running out and queues were building. It just seemed with the staff they had available, that perhaps they could have served tea and coffee to the table. I chose a table but was a single guest and did not have anything to show I was sitting there as I went to get coffee leaving it all feeling a little chaotic. Breakfast itself was tasty, but they mentioned poached and scrambled eggs on their menu, but it was only fried eggs out and although seemed plenty of staff no one stayed around long enough to approach to ask.
Not too far from city , it was a girls relaxing night away and we enjoyed that you could go and use the spa/ swimming facilities!
The lift not working

Lovely location, full of character. Clean and good facilities
Some of the food was fairly basic. Requested toast for breakfast with preserves, received a single slice of cold toast. Staff forgot on two occasion to deliver our breakfast. The baby cot was not really suitable as it had no safe bedding at all unfortunately so would recommend you take a travel mattress.
Lovely location and Bar staff very friendly
Could have been cleaner . Lots of dust and chipped paint etc . Could do with a bit of a makeover . Sheets didn’t fit beds and Ironing board in room was shocking. Also swimming lessons on which made it very difficult to enjoy a swim when so many others trying to swim in 2 lanes .

Poor attitude from the front desk, and also very strange principe when asking for water in our room to be told “oh that particular room doesn’t get complimentary water”
Seems a ridiculous premise to dictate this on a room number.
