Buona base per visitare l'aberdeenshire
Pros:

Struttura particolare, sicuramente di impatto all'arrivo. Molto tranquillo e rilassante. Bellissimo il parco e il contesto attorno all'hotel. Non troppo distante da Aberdeen, ma serve la macchina. Noi lo abbiamo usato come base per visitare castelli e diatillerie nell'Aberdeenshire ed era ottimo. La camera era grande (superior) e pulita e (tranne la domenica) ben curata nella pulizia quotidiana. Colazioni abbondanti e con ingredienti di buon livello. Rapporto qualità-prezzo buono.

Cons:

La struttura in generale è particolare, con alcuni elementi un po' kitsch, e, in alcuni aspetti, un po' trascurata. Lo spa è ok, non lussuoso ma comunque piacevole dopo una giornata in giro. Il sabato si riempie per feste ed eventi (ivi compreso un funeral tea). Staff professionale ma la domenica, per qualche motivo, sembra che l'hotel perda una stella: camera a malapena pulita e sistemata in fretta e furia, bar incomprensibilmente sotto stress con un terzo dei clienti della sera prima, ristorante peggiorato nel cibo e nella presentazione.

Excellent venue for a nice break, we now have stayed on multiple occasions.
Pros:

Dog friendly rooms on ground floor with own access doors to the grounds. For the volume of people staying the hotel remains quiet and tranquil. Rooms are well maintained. Original entrance keeps in character of the age of the building. Breakfast is first class.

Cons:

Our only negative after staying there on 5/6 separate occasions is the Food menu/Bar menu. The food is very good quality however and in keeping with the hotel. However the choice is very limited and tailored to a clientele. Adding in some alternate more popular choices for families etc would enhance the experience. For this reason we tend to eat out most days.
