Lovely big spotlessly clean rooms. Evening meal really giid.
Breakfast wasn't great could have been hotter but better than some other places we've stayed recently.
Location.
Dinner was really good as was breakfast. I would describe the food as plentiful and “clean”. Really enjoyed it.
It was a bit cold and the common rooms were small.
Beautiful location, rooms spacious warm and clean. We stayed for Hogmanay and enjoyed the firework display. Breakfast was lovely and fresh.
The room was very good value for money and both the bedroom amd bathroom were a good size and clean. It was very quiet.
The water supply was off from 10pm to 5.30am. Not a huge deal but it was planned work and would’ve been nice to know when booking. The hotel was nice but nowhere near as luxurious as it looked online (but still good value).
Beautiful building, lovely spa and pool, food was excellent and the service and friendliness of the staff really made it a lovely experience.
We had such a relaxing time, the room was beautiful, pool was great, food was delicious and my wee dog was very welcomed. Looking forward to returning
Lovely place to stay
Lots of character and the staff were lovely
Lovely hotel. Love to visit again.
Very comfortable and beautiful views, some of the staff were very helpful
Check in kept getting delayed as the room wasn’t ready due to shortage of staff and the bar staff were busy again due to shortages.
Beautiful place
Potholes in drive.
Thought I’d damaged the wheel with the noise it made. Difficult to avoid at night as you can’t see them
We had a most relaxing stay at this hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful, full of old world charm, but modern in its facilities. The drawing room has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and the bedrooms are a generous size. The food and drinks were of a very good standard and catered well for vegetarians. A particular mention to the lovely barman who made the best Irish coffee, after my stroll around the grounds to see the 'highland coos'. Time spent in the leisure centre was a wonderful way to relax in the evening. Overall the hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable and all the staff were very friendly and polite.
The bed was a superking size but the duvet wasn't, which caused issues.
The steam room was out of order at the time but that was made clear to all guests prior to check-in.
