Pros:

Ein schönes Ambiente im alten englischen Stil. Sehr ruhige Lage, wenn nicht gerade Raser auf der nahe gelegen Straße Vollgas geben. Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich und es gibt nicht nur schottisches Frühstück. Zimmer und Bad sind angenehm geräumig und gut ausgestattet.

Cons:

Was als Spa Bereich beschrieben wird. Ist ein Schwimmbad wo auch Schwimmuntericht für Kinder gegeben wird und eine Sauna. Dazu liegt dieser Bereich außerhalb vom Hotel.

Pros:

Hele mooie ligging, van buiten een mooi gebouw en veel goede parkeerplaatsen.

Cons:

We kregen een kamer voor gehandicapten, terwijl we dat niet zijn. De badkamer was vies, inclusief schimmel in de kitranden. Het hele hotel was zeer slecht gepoetst: vieze stoffige vloeren, beschadigde deuren, vieze lift, vlekkerige versleten stoelen.

Very badly let down by Ardoe house
Pros:

Cons:

Room 122 cobwebs walls ceiling hair in shower drain blocked with hair etc no cups eventually got 3 cups curtains hanging off bed couch no sheets but it was late by the time we got back 2 hotel but told staff in our dissatisfaction as we have stayed many times at this hotel

Double rooms good value
Pros:

Attending family wedding so great to have rooms on site.

Cons:

Noise in corridors.
Another event taking place at hotel and disturbed by young children running up and down corridors shouting and people thinking it was acceptable to have loud conversations in corridor well after midnight.
Bedroom was far too warm and window wouldn't open.
Paid for 2 privilege rooms and one double. Only difference was that privilege came with 2 cans of fizz, 2 packets of crisps, 2 biscuits, towelling robes and slippers. As beds were identical in all 3 rooms there was no point in paying extra for privilege room.

Lovely relaxing overnight stay
Pros:

Beautiful building. Very pleasant staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent.

A nice hotel
Pros:

The room was comfortable, the grounds were beautiful and the staff were friendly

Cons:

The pool facilities were incredibly busy, during the time we were there the full afternoon was booked for swimming lessons and the later evening had a loud aqua aerobics class. It was very difficult to access the pool. It was better in the morning.

We returned for a nostalgic visit while in Scotland because we became engaged in the hotel in March 1971.
Pros:

The beauty of the old parts and the perfect comfort of our bedroom.

Cons:

Nothing really except that it was a long walk to our room and the lift was out of order.
