Though clean and pleasant staff was expensive.
Pros:

Our room was easily accessible from parking, close location to downtown, basic and clean room

Cons:

Very expensive for the quality of room. Items for breakfast very basic.

Good location and great staff
Pros:

Walking distance to Main Street and waterfront. Easy drive to Acadia National Park. Good snacks and complimentary beverages. Really friendly staff. Comfortable bed and good shower.

Cons:

Window shades were hard to use. Only one side table next to bed and outlet too far to charge phone next to bed.

Wouldn’t stay there again
Pros:

Looks good only from the outside and the office . Our king balcony didn’t even have a closet! There was a rack to use. No safe in the room and no phone in the room to be able to reach the office. Minimal for the guest rooms. Lots of moisture in the bathroom without adequate ventilation. It was clean.We like to walk so the location was fine. It’s a motel, with plenty of parking but they charge a daily rate for parking!!

We stayed in the building next-door to the hotel. It was a nice setting however we did have noisy neighbors come in late
Pros:

The location was good. We walked downtown to eat and.

Cons:

They do not have coffee or tea makers in the room, you have to walk to the office in the morning, which was far because we were in the building next-door to the hotel. I’d like to drink my coffee in my PJs in the morning so that didn’t happen..

Pros:

Location is great! We could walk to shopping and food. And we were close to Acadia.

Cons:

I would have liked a lock on the balcony door.

Also, there was no tea after the first breakfast. Kind of a bummer. They said the coffee was good, but that is not helpful if you don’t drink coffee.

Not a good choice in Bar Harbor
Pros:

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and the heat was well regulated

Cons:

This hotel is on the edge of downtown and, for $400/night, it is overpriced. The property should have an elevator. The daytime service staff goes through the motions without being at all helpful. The very meager "continental breakfast" could be easily and cheaply improved with the addition of such things as yogurt, bagels and cream cheese, hard boiled eggs, etc. The pre-packaged offerings were decidedly unappetizing. One morning the "manager" took all the bananas meant for guests and gave them to a friend who left with them. My impression is that management only does the bare minimum.

Pros:

Loved the location and the free breakfast and grab and go amenities!

Cons:

The mattresses were super old and sunken in but not super uncomfortable. The actual linens were very fresh and clean.

It’s a nice place but my first stay here so nothing to compare against.
Pros:

Clean and spacious especially the bathroom. I like that there is parking right out of the door. Had good breakfast snacks but nothing like a buffet. Walking distance to downtown.

Cons:

It was rather expensive post holiday but I suppose this tourist town is.
