If I wasn’t so exhausted I would’ve left and booked a different place.
Pros:

Pros:

I liked the location, the flexible checkin and the beds and pillows were comfortable and clean

Cons:

The housekeepers room where they clean the sheets and stuff was right next to our room and they were so loud, they didn’t respect the guests sleeping, I told them decently to lower it down, and nothing changed they kept chatting and laughing everyday from 8AM, also the carpets smells so bad, they need to be replaced, the room smelled bad

Pros:

Location was perfect, close to Crystal cove, Newport Beach and many retail stores. Great price and felt safe

Cons:

The room didn’t seem clean. There was still other persons clothes left in the room. The room smelt terrible, dog urine and sea water/ mold made this room stink. The chair in the corner is covered in something as our clothes smell terrible, like smelly feet.

Convenient place to stay, near Newport and Balboa.
Pros:

Convenient for our visit to the area. Large room, comfortable bed. Had to ask for bath towels. Convenient parking with no extra charges. Pool. Usual breakfast but ok to start the morning.

Cons:

Need of updating in the bathroom, the faucet, very slow water drain from sink.

Noisy and partying all night
Pros:

Noisy. Guests were young and partied all night. I had to sign agreement that it was quiet time after 10PM.

Vomitus in the halls and stairs were not cleaned up for over 1 day.

Cons:

Enforcing quiet time. Cleaning common areas .

Cons:

Leaking toilet and mold on the walls of bathroom. Didn’t have another room to put me in so I had to leave and find another hotel. They still charged me for the first night despite conditions being unacceptable. Booking.com didn’t help fight for refund.

Great spot for clean, well located stay
Pros:

location is great, nearby food and shopping, close enough to beaches and highways. Was able to get a ground floor room and staff was always friendly.

Cons:

Price was a little high, site is great, but does have general wear and tear, so feels a bit expensive for the current facilities. Price on weekends was too high for us, so stayed on weekdays.

It was an ugly hotel experience , I hope others learn from our experience !!
Pros:

The room was first floor, as requested and it was suppose to be 2 queen beds , however they gave us 2 full size beds , it should have had a microwave , and there were none, I asked to switch it because of the noise from people using the stairway , and they claim they have none available while we were among the first to check in. Rusted safe , cannot use it to avoid being stuck there. As for the cleaning they did not clean and only showed up one hour ahead of leaving to tell us to leave.

Cons:

Only the location of the hotel, everything else was really poor.

Nice location with great staff
