Comfort Suites New Braunfels - San Antonio Area

I would not recommend this hotel for a few reasons: The front desk personnel were not friendly, the room needed paint to be touched up in a lot of places, three long black hairs were on the bathroom floor, no way to use the tub due to no stopper, two silverfish crawling in bathtub, no kleenex in room, less than stellar breakfast (link sausage was pale instead of browned and not much variety of other food). I was pretty disappointed, and I am not usually picky.

The room was clean with no issues.

Safe parking, quiet area. We stayed 2 nights it was clean overall and staff was friendly. Only thing is they could only give us one extra blanket per room. There were 4 people in our room. Not a big deal. Pool was clean. Breakfast was pretty good. Overall good experience.

The staff was friendly and room comfortable. I had reserved what I thought was a lower level King room, but upon arrival was told I was on second floor. Not a deal breaker, but the ice machine was broken and we had to go down to the first floor to get ice. Our room fridge didn’t work properly. Our stay was for 6 days and our room was only cleaned once and it was after being there 4 days! We also found roaches in our room. I usually choose Comfort Suites, because they are consistent and clean. I have never experienced what we did for those 6 days! I will never stay at this establishment again if I’m in the area! This hotel seriously needs updating and treated for insects.

Great staff. Place was pretty clean other than some mold in the corners of the shower (very visible, and spanned about a foot - surprised cleaning staff wouldn’t have found a way to clean it).

Great room

Staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. They did not have enough towels the weekend we were there. that they clean our rooms for the three days we were there.

Good place to stay with family.

Ac didn’t work fully and the bed was dirty. I have pictures. It was mold in the shower

Ceiling drywall was cracked. Room smelled and felt of moisture. I asked the friendly staff if they could move us to a new room and they did. While we were getting settled in the new room, my daughter had a bug walk from the couch onto her arm. Looked it up and it appeared to be a female bed bug. We immediately asked for a refund and left. Both staff members we worked with were friendly and helpful. But the property is a no go.

Let’s just say that the adage, ‘You get what you pay for’, rings true for this stay.
With hair in the shower to only being able to get One blanket per room, the experience will be one our family won’t soon forget..but not in a good way. 😟

The bed was comfy and the breakfast was actually pretty good for a budget hotel. The ceiling in our room has black spots everywhere, not sure if mold or smoke damage. When we walked in, we were hit with a very overwhelming strong smell of stale water damage. It's pretty overpowering when you first walk in. The whole place needs a facelift and was overpriced for the two night stay, but we weren't at the hotel much so it served its purpose at having a good bed and breakfast.

Terrible musty smell coming from AC unit that never went away. This is a $100.00 per night hotel at best. Save your money and book a different hotel. You will thank me.

Hotel location is convenient. Staff was friendly. Breakfast had options of bananas, cereal, yogurt, Texas shaped waffles, eggs, bacon or sausage and toast. Only complain is rooms were not cleaned daily, I think it was offered after the 3rd night, so don’t expect fresh clean towels daily. The water in bathroom sink also backed up.

Staff were friendly. Overall hotel seemed new and clean. It had an elevator. Pool could have been cleaner. The room was clean, everything worked well, quiet with only a few cosmetic issues. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever had. Breakfast and breakfast attendant were both good. Location was good. Parking was good. Only issue was the inflated price of $222 for 1 night.
