Outstanding stay at this hotel
Pros:

The staff was super friendly and helpful. We especially loved the free shuttle available to guests and the drivers, Tony and Corey, were outstanding and went above and beyond. The suites are comfortable and luxurious. Great stay!

Comfort, friendliness and centralized location during our Detroit visit.
Pros:

This was our first visit to Detroit, and the location of the Atheneum was perfectly centralized. We could walk to Comerica Park for the baseball game, and also walk the other direction to the Detroit Riverwalk. Our room was so much bigger than we expected, and quite a different lay-out and style than we are used to. We loved the uniqueness of it. We had a lovely city view from our room, and the bed was very comfortable. The Keurig coffee maker and K-pods in the room were a nice touch. Staff at the front desk, bar and cleaning service were always helpful and efficient. I appreciated using the gym/fitness room. The bar was quite nice, and the adjoining Fishbone's restaurant was delicious and convenient. We would absolutely stay here again.

The best. Hands down. Already booking my stay for next year.
Pros:

Easy accessibility to all of downtown. Super clean. Friendly staff. Sunken sleeping suites away from the hallway traffic is the best.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing. This place is great.

It was very well located for all the downtown attractions. Very convenient with the transportation stations around the corner.
