I stayed to visit family who live in the area
Amazing staff and hotel. Used the pool, hot tub and sauna all excellent. Also had breakfast, dinner and used the bar area all amazing too. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good hotel if staying in the area - easy access to A1 and A14, plus national railway
we were staying there for fishing competition run by angling trust, lovely hotel, staff on reception were lovely, hotel room was nice, bathroom dated, bit of better cleaning, getting rid of mould would of been nicer, then we’d just dropped of to sleep and it sounded like a stone was thrown at the window and woke us both up at 2 am

Very nice hotel for a very reasonable price. The pool and jacuzzi were great!!! Only slight downfall was with the internet speed. Other than that everything greatly was above our expectations.
Blood on bed sheets, cleaners took our free drink vouchers, lost my pjs bottoms, dirty mattress.

Live it all minimal things usb ports in room lacking.brakfast excellent but a bit pricey but thats a minor.allowing grandkids in pool with us free would be great but really these are not issues id not stay over and over

I had a pleasant stay and overall enjoyed my time here. The room was comfortable and the service was good. The only downside was the sound of the air conditioning on the first night, which disturbed my rest a little. Apart from that, everything went well, and I appreciated the hospitality.

The whole experience was fantastic, the staff were great and hotel was in great condition.
Appears to be understaffed with staff with little knowledge of the job. But with that said, they went above and beyond. Called down to find out what the room service kids menu was. Was placed on hold for a very long time to be told someone had to bring the menu. Why not put on the app! Then when ordering room service I was told I didn’t put a card for expenses, but wasn’t asked for one! Then when ordering a kids dessert, which according to the menu came with a sorbet, they didn’t know if it came with anything and then didn’t know if they had the flavour. Needless to say the fruit salad arrived with nothing after all that discussion despite saying it came with a sorbet! There was no glasses for juice at breakfast. But as I said, all the staff go above and beyond even though they lack knowledge and are clearly understaffed.
I loved the spacious layout. what I didnt like was the service charge on the bill...when you pay for the room and have a meal for 4 in the restaurent, i object to having another £15 added to the bill...but its so close to my grandson, apart from that its a great place.
Our room was excellent and reasonably priced. We also thought the breakfast was very good. would definitely recommend the hotel for overnight stops.
