Cons:

I called to cancel reservation but due to them having no power couldn't find my reservation. Booking.com called 2 times asked for an exception but refused to refund me my money since they charged my card. I had called several times to have them resolve the issue

Rough start but a great finish.
Pros:

When we arrived, we were told the hotel was oversold & they didn't have the type of room we had booked. We were able to get into a different room for the first night.
Took a swim in the slightly chilly pool & enjoyed ourselves nonetheless.
Rose was able to get us moved to the room we wanted after the first night. The breakfast was pretty decent & the staff were pleasant.
We were able to get a late checkout, which will reduce the morning stress.
Katie, the night desk clerk was especially helpful & very sweet.
Despite the initial struggle, we would probably stay here again.

Thought we were going to get Continental breakfast but it didn't start until 7 and we had to be somewhere by 7. Breakfast starts at 6 everywhere else we've stayed
