I should’ve chose better

A couple of the staff members rather sit on their phone and help anybody the pool door was completely locked for half the time we were there and that’s all my kids wanted to do was swim couldn’t get no clean towels off. The staff was like a bother someone I asked the gentleman if I can get some extra towels after being there for three days and on our last day, we got woken up at 7 AM for a fire alarm because the room across road was getting too hot from have them having full blast heaters trying to dry up the floor, not to mention the homeless people on the edge of the stairways through the night two of the nights because Staff doesn’t walk through the hallways

Pros:

Except for the fact that the Ai forgot to tell me I was 86 for drug paraphernalia that I last heard was legal in AK. Grass.Thete was nothing smoked swallowed injected or otherwise in my room
.The young night clerk, from the get go didn't like us and showed it to most of my party which is native ,I am white and I received a completely different attitude,(one of acceptance and low key comeradery until he connected me with the group. Then an attitude of ignorance of our questions and turning a way as if we were done.

Cons:

What i just talked about being accused of something when I was showed nothing, just after paying I was told I was not able try o have my room where I got no compensation for my reservation.

It was decently clean

Cons:

False advertising. Mini fridge didn’t work asked to move rooms. Neither king room had pullout couch . First one had no place to sit second one had backyard style seating. Only showers no bath tub. Breakfast was mediocre at best. 2nd night management was knocking on the door at 1:30 am because paper work wasn’t done correctly due to switching of rooms. Microwave was on its last leg. Overall not a good stay.

Our room was nice enough- but I would not go back
Pros:

Location proximity to the mushing district abs railroad

Cons:

The indoor pool is not heated. They ran out of towels…we had to go buy our own. We were there 10 days… same tasteless scrambled eggs and sausage. Staff was pleasant enough but way under trained to answer ANY questions. Seems everyone just started - something as simple as could we get a roll of toilet paper required contacting the manager. The facility just felt…sad.
