Ramada by Wyndham Temple Terrace/Tampa North

I am formally requesting a refund for my stay. I paid a higher rate for a Double Room based on the room options advertised on Booking.com, but I was provided a room with only one double bed. This was not the accommodation I reserved or paid for.
In addition to receiving the wrong room, we encountered wet bedding, foul-smelling sheets, a toilet that did not flush properly, and a poorly cleaned bathroom with visible hair. We attempted more than once to obtain assistance from the front desk, but no one was available. After returning to the hotel around midnight, the bedding smelled so badly that we had to purchase our own sheets from Walmart.
At checkout, I requested that the hotel address the incorrect room and unacceptable conditions, but the issue was not resolved. I later discovered that the employee I spoke with was actually the manager and had the authority to address my request.
I did not receive the room type or level of cleanliness and service that I paid for. I am therefore requesting a refund and a written response regarding the resolution of this complaint.
What I changed: I organized the complaint chronologically, separated the incorrect-room issue from the cleanliness and maintenance problems, and made the refund request clear and firm without making the message overly emotional. I also emphasized that the Double Room carried a higher price, since that strengthens your argument that you did not receive what you paid for.

Paint in the bathtub was flashing off. Some of the outlets where super loose and wouldn't work. Light switch when u first walk in doesn't turn on a light. Had to turn on a lamp in the dark.

The owner is aggressive, excessive and unprofessional.
Not only that the room smelt like PUT mold, the bathroom was nasty. And the bed sheet+blanket smelt like mold.

It was obviously old, but even old things could be kept nice. This was not so much. The room was damp. Everything we had with us became damp around smelled. When you turned on the bed, there was loud noises when you got in the bed. there was a loud noise. The best we could say is we got our moneys worth meaning it was low in price and it was low and comfort cleaning. And the other aspects.

Rooms smelled like mold and cigarette. Lights and other features could work better or be updated. Overall ok stay for adults not do enjoy it for a family stay.

Maybe the pool could've been skimmed more. But the weather was a little crazy. ..,.......

It needs some updates. Paint peeling in the room off the walls and doors. Rust stains and the walls needed to be cleaned. Mattress was uncomfortable

Pienso que el schedule de la limpieza de la habitación debe ser diario por eso de sacar la basura, cambiar toallas y revisar los room utilities.

Inicialmente, tuvimos que pedir ser cambiados de habitación por cucarachas en la misma. Eso sí, nos resolvieron amablemente y rápido.

El área de la bañera y sus piezas están deterioradas y no muy bonitas estéticamente.

Sin embargo, el aire y la cama espectaculares a otro nivel, súper cómoda. Nada de ruidos extraños.

The lock was broke and the room smelled like smoke and the room felt very moist

Only one waffle maker, had to wait 15 minutes to make 1 waffle. The food was just so so.
