Clean and comfortable
Affordable accomodations at a budget friendly price. Comfortable bed, plenty of water pressure. The only downside is the in room AC was noisy. We will stay here again.

Spa/Hot tub did not work properly the jets did not work.
Refrigerator was not cold and the temperature nozzle was broken.
The room was not thoroughly cleaned before we arrived there was trash and crumbs left over from previous guest on the floor and trash can and as well as a lot of dust.
The pillows were really flat and uncomfortable.

The a/c was not working in the common areas and the pool was closed which is crazy because it’s July. I was sweating trying to check in due to it being so hot inside. The elevator was terribly hot
The hotel was HOT. No A/C in common areas, lobby etc. the restaurant Texas Steakhouse is awful. Very run down, no A/C; poor service. DO NOT pay extra to get breakfast! Too much to mention but it was AWFUL!!
When I called the hotel, I had reached the third-party. I asked them if this was Doubletree by Hilton and Rocky Mount. They said yes. I paid with my card over the phone., then when I arrived at Doubletree after driving nine hours, they said I had not paid so I showed them on my bank statements online thatit was pending. They said that was the third-party that I paid that I’d have to get my refund through them so then I had to turn and pay again because I needed a place to stay. I tried calling third-party to get my money back and it filled so I went back to Doubletree. they told me I didn’t have to go tomy bank and get my money. Needless to say I never got my $275 back. I won’t ever use this facility or a Doubletree again. I really disappointed that no one tried to refund my money.

The lobby was attractive. The room, however, was a bit dated, and furniture scratched. It was clean. There were not enough lights. There was a king bed but only 1 nightstand. The bathroom was nice and had Crabtree & Evelyn products. There was a microwave, and a mini-fridge with a freezer compartment.
Nice folks, great having a restaurant in the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable.
