We’ve been to Rome before and purposely looked for a quieter stay in a calm neighborhood while being inside the city core. This was a perfect choice’
Close to home we found loads of great local coffee bars and restaurants, and the Termini train station is a very short walk which makes coming and going so much easier.
The hotel is spotless, cool, and silent. We enjoyed the complementary lemon-mint water and savoury buns each day when coming back after touring about. Staff are exceptional and friendly.
The staff was always on hand to help and nothing was too much hassle. The location fantastic and tge room very clean
I asked for the room to be special as it was our anniversary. They agreed to put flower petals etc on the bed but instead there was jist a couple of balloons dotted around the room. Slightly disappointed
The room was a good size with all amenities you could ask for. The location was great and very close to the train station. Reception staff were very informative and friendly.

El personal, la comuditat i la ubicació
L’esmorzar molt just
Freundlich, agierende Mitarbeiter. Sehr gute Zimmerservice(aufräumen), Lift, airconition, gute Buslinien ganz nah, Metro Linie ganz nah, Termini sehr nah, ordentliches Frühstück
Staff was great, room was ok
the stairs at the entrance - not what you expect with 2 suitcases, breakfast was poor
Traditional old building which is what we wanted and lovely inside. Clean room, comfy beds and lovely bathroom with large shower.
Nice breakfast room with continental breakfast.
All staff were very friendly and helpful.
L’hôtel est très bien situé, des transports en commun tout juste à proximité. Nous avons bien aimé notre séjour.
Tout était agréable, du personnel à l’hôtel.
Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Dobre śniadanie. 250 metrów do stacji metra. Większość atrakcji do 1.5 km. Pokój może nieco klaustrofobiczny.. ale w kocu do Rzymu jedzie sie zwiedzać a nie spędzać czas w pokoju. Oldschoolowa winda.

Hotel Britannia completely turned my trip around. It was exactly what I needed after a stressful start in Rome.
As a solo traveler visiting Rome for the first time, I was looking for a hotel where I could feel safe, welcomed, and comfortable, and Hotel Britannia exceeded every expectation.
From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. After a stressful experience elsewhere, their hospitality immediately put me at ease. The check-in process was smooth, and it was such a relief to have a knowledgeable front desk available to answer questions and offer assistance.
The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. My room was exactly what I needed after long days of exploring the city. Air conditioning (which was greatly appreciated during the summer heat) and a comfy bed to get a great night’s sleep.
The location was another highlight. I found it easy to reach many of Rome’s major attractions, and there were plenty of restaurants and transportation options nearby. It was the perfect home base for exploring the city.
What stood out most, though, was how the staff made me feel. Traveling alone internationally can be intimidating, but they created an environment where I felt welcomed and cared for.
If you’re visiting Rome, especially as a solo traveler, I would absolutely recommend Hotel Britannia. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on my next trip.
The staff said they upgraded us for extra 10 Eur but we ended up getting the same room we had paid for. The room was dusty and AC wasn’t cooling the room well enough. First time ever during hotel stay we lost electricity in the room because we charged both our phones together. The lift stopped working couple of times we were there too and also the bottles with bathroom supplies kept losing their nozzles ever time we tried to use them. Also the room and bathroom were both so cramped you had to sit sideways on the pot because it was so close to wall. The Tv also could not be connected to phone and had absolutely no English Channel whatsoever. Overall glad we booked it only for a day else it would have ruined the trip.
