Hyatt Place Cincinnati Blue Ash

Upon arrival, we checked in as normal. Went to our room and realized the toilet was clogged. So we called the front desk and they sent help. During the process of getting help we realized that the electrical outlet and plug for the the AC unit was completely fried and it working. It must have recently caught on fire. We also reported that to the front desk who was very quick to get us another room. While we were still discussing things with the hotel manager our teenage boys went on ahead to take our belongings to the new room only to be mortified as they found a women occupying the room upon entering.
So the manager followed us to the room to confirm there indeed was another woman occupying the new room. They apologized and gave us yet another room.
The shower didn’t work well, water only came out of the shower head in a dribble form. The phones in the room didn’t work. The freezer door inside of the refrigerator didn’t work.
The breakfast was something we’ve never seen before having green onions in the eggs and the hotel managers were extremely rude at one point raising his voice at my wife.
If you’re looking to stay at the Hyatt place regardless of the location.
Please please reconsider.
My family and I have traveled the county and this was by far the worst place we’ve ever stayed.

My daughter and I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. There was no hot water, and nothing was done about it. We were told “I will try to get someone to come look at it.” No one ever came. No communication to let us know if someone was coming. No offer of a different room/different accommodations with hot water. No understanding/apologetic communication for the inconvenience. It was as if I was an inconvenience. Pretty surprising. Definitely do not recommend. Could’ve been handled really differently.

Doog poop in the room floor, along with dog food dog hair and unsanitary conditions otherwise. Broken heater, very dirty stained couch, horrible customer service on the manager and/or customer service department. Only positive experience was the kind front desk lady.

The worst hotel experience I have ever had. Reached out to manager and Hyatt and have been ignored. We had issues from the moment we arrived . Front parking lot and entrance roped off. We were given no warning about this. It was closed the entire three days we were there. The side entrance that for safety is supposed to be opened by key card only was left unlocked. Food and grit in carpet in hallway. Trash and cigarette butts everywhere outside. Pet area outside had an over flowing trash can with doggie bags. Now let’s get to the rooms . The first room we were in had a nasty stained couch. We had to be moved a few hours after check in because the toilet would not flush. They said no maintenance on site so move next door. The next morning we had no hot water in our shower, no hair dryer in room and no phone cord on desk phone. Took trips downstairs to get hair dryer. They sent someone up to check shower and he said he would go talk to manager and come back. I at this point had asked for a manager and called Hyatt as request for manager and text via app to hotel were ignored. He came back with a key card. I thought they were moving us again. Nope they had us use the room next door with the non working toilet for a place to shower. Absolutely ridiculous. Went downstairs next morning to talk to manager and once again not available. Called Hyatt and they have been no help. I have photos of the black grime on the furniture in the room and of the run down hotel. Don’t waste your money and stay here.

This is a mediocre Hyatt Place. The important things - it is clean, pleasant, quiet and the staff are friendly. NO serious problems but not up to Hyatt standards. The entire hotel is worn - lots of scuffs on the walls etc. Several ice makers weren’t broken and no fruit at breakfast. Again it’s fine but overdue for a refresh

Rooms are in need of a refresh like fresh paint and new carpet. Entrance to hotel & parking lot during the snow storm not shoveled so my car got stuck trying to leave and again when returning on night 2. No hot breakfast during my 2 day stay

Convenience to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Campuses

Breakfast was exceptional.

The Hispanic housekeeper working on the early afternoon of Sunday, 6/8/2025, has exceptional customer service. I encountered her in the hallway and asked if she had complementary toothpaste since we forgot to pack it, and only did she say no but went downstairs to bring us some. She did not have to do that. I will be returning to this hotel.
